Rocklin Smog & Auto Repair

THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. They take my car in for a brake problem, charge me 1300 dollars and claimed they fixed it, just to find out they fixed nothing. So we take it back in for them to actually fix it, they have the car for a week before they even call back. We go to pick the car up for the second time and this time it doesn't even start. They tell us we have to jump start the car so we do and as we are driving home we notice ATLEAST 3 additional problems, AND THEY STILL NEVER EVEN FIXED THE BRAKES. Now the car is in way worse condition than when we originally took it in and they wont do anything to help. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Went in for a smog test. Third bi-annual one they've done for me. Happy every time. Quick. Reasonable. Would recommend

Triple the price for basic light inspection. I drive 5 miles got it done for $50 vs $150

This is a top quality independent repair shop. Smog plus general maintenance and repair. Honest and accurate. Few things like alignment they don't do but very good on engines and stuff

I asked for a smog test, the large older man behind he counter made a big deal about me being from another state, told me I made the wrong decision by moving here, literally laughed in my face and when I said I was in a hurry and asked the price he told me to go somewhere else if I can get a better deal. No customer service skills whatsoever, how are they in business with that guy working there as the first face people see?

Ron worked on our vehicles last week and was quick, thorough and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

The staff is very professional and the job was done right. The shop, bathroom, and waiting room are all very clean and sanitary.

I had great service here! I got in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. They were friendly and didn't mess around. I know nothing about cars but I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of like some places do when you're a woman. They brought my car right back to my same parking spot when they were done and even helped me back out as there were many cars around when I left and it was a tight squeeze. I would definitely go back there again.

Would never go here again. Have a classic car, paid for the smog and they wouldn't pass me because there wasn't a sticker on the air cleaner.

My car was having a starting issue. It was dead. I took it to Rocklin Smog on a recommendation from a relative. They fixed it but several days later it was dead again. I took it back a total of 4 times, even left it for a weekend. Every time I came back there was no effort to even apologize. After the 4th failed attempt I found Lehr Auto ElexElec in Natomas. They diagnosed it as a faulty reelay switch with the A/C. It has run perfectly ever since, no problems.

This place WILL try to take advantage of you. They are a very sketchy place. For example, they replaced some old, hoses on my truck because they were worn for me. They used vacuum hoses; however, those hoses aren't meant to withstand high temperature gases that were going through them. My truck failed smog due to this. Here's the thing. THIS PLACE IS A SMOG SHOP. They knew my truck would fail to squeeze more money out of me. I'm sure they've done more sneaky stuff to my truck. Beware of this place.

They have good prices with coupons but other than that they are not very good. Office smells like body odor, most of their employees have a bad attitude and desperately need customer service training. They are not careful with your vehicle and have a high probability of scratching or denting your car. I was not impressed with how they drive my car into their garage ramp. My car is low and they were going too fast. They need to be more careful but their biggest problem is their workers unceasing bad attitude. They need to fire those guys and get some nice guys to work their. I HOPE THE OWNER READS THIS. Pay attention or you will lose business.

Horrible place the staff just stared off into space. We gave them our set of keys and came back for them. They lost every key except the car key!

I took my car in for smog check. They called me to indicate a problem with my car prior to doing the smog test. I was very pleased with the way they approached the issue in such a profession and timely manner. The cost for the fix was very reasonable and they where able to have my car ready to go within an hour. Great job to both mechanic and shop manager.
