Over the years, I have brought multiple cars in my fleet here for ceramic tint, quality product and workmanship, clean shop. Matt is generally booked out at least 2-3 weeks, but worth the wait.

It gives me a good feeling that this place is always clean and organized. This is the second time I've been here and I've referred several friends and family.

Responsive and super friendly! Was able to get my car tinted with a reasonable price. Waiting for the film to cure to the windows but the job looks flawless and was able to get it done on a Saturday so I didn't have to take time out of work to drop the car off.

I had my windows done here 5 yrs ago, and took my car back again because one of the windows had been scratched by something, causing a streak. Figured I'd just retint both of the windows a little darker. The owner is very safety minded, he explained how it might be difficult at night to see in my right hand mirror. So I had him reapply the same tint, and he saved me some money!

This is my place for tint. Yes the appointments are usually extended out a few weeks but he's in high demand. Rocky mountain has done 6 of my vehicles and I have an appointment for the seventh in a few weeks. I've never had an issue with any of his work and he has my business as long as he's willing to take it.

Very busy man, but if you can get ahold of him for an appointment he does all the work himself and flawless work, along with the tint already being the best tint around. I went in for Ceramic tinting limo tint on my Tesla. He was able to make it look and blend in and match it with the existing factory tint.

This review is about eight years late, but time has given context to the quality of this place's work. Of six tint installers in five states that I've hired - and a couple dozen that I checked out and politely (or not) declined - Matt at Rocky Mountain Tint in Livermore is the best I've seen, in any area, at any price point, period. Cut lines don't get any neater, window seal gaps don't get any smaller, dot matrix doesn't get covered (without paint, anyway) any better, and business transactions don't get any smoother than this. Despite eight years of heavy use (I hauled hay bales in it at one point, for example) and numerous resulting scratches and chips, the tint held up great. After most of a decade in the sun, the Llumar film did fade slightly (VLT on what was 15% when new was 21% this spring, according to a traffic cop), but no purple, and I didn't upgrade over the basic film. In any case, no peeling or bubbling or anything else the installer could control. My only regret is that he did only one of my cars and now I've moved too far away.
