Rodin Sculpture Garden reviews
13 Gorgeous sculptures in a beautiful setting.
There’s ample areas to stand and admire the sculptures or to sit with friends.
It’s a very walkable area, and not too crowded on a sunny fall afternoon.
A great place for meetings or just to appreciate the art during a nice city walk.
Brought an older relative with dementia here. The Rodin garden and gallery reached right through the fog and just.found her. We weren't sure how she might respond and were overjoyed that she was happy and engaged for two whole hours! She looked at many sculptures 2-3 times and her eyes were shining. (And special thank you to the kind security staff who were understanding and let us gently redirect her when she wanted to touch the statues) For someone whose doctors don't predict many good days remaining, this really was a gift.
Amazing Rodin sculptures outdoors open 24/7 on the Stanford campus. The Gates of Hell sculpture is phenomenal, flanked by Adam and Eve.
The door was protected under a glass door at the museum in Mexico. But here? Touch it and hug it!
Nice compact views of signature works.
And then you can go see this at the legion of honor
This has been a fav place of mine to visit whenever I come to the Bay Area. The sculptures are awe inspiring.
The anatomical representation, the expressions on the faces, the foetal position captured in all its angst is deeply deeply disturbing.
Do make it a place to visit in your bucket list.
We went to Arizona Cactus Garden and then saw this place on Maps with good review. Hence decided to check in and I'm glad we did. The Hell Gate was incredible. What a great creation by Rodin. The place won't disappoint you. There are benches to sit so you can have some relaxing time at this place.
The Gates of Hell canines so many pieces Rodin worked on throughout his life, all of them melting into oblivion. Amazing piece of work.
Phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal. The last time I saw this many Rodin sculptures was in Paris. So glad to be able to see this on the west coast
The sculptures are outside of the museum, iris and b.gerald cantor art gallery. "Gates of Hell"
The Gates of Hell is a massive domineering piece that evokes feelings of dread and fascination.
I loved that place. When I visited it was all Christmas and I could not see the sculptures or I did not reach that point I do not know but it's so cute
I can't see what's so special with this place. Decent to stroll around in on a nice day I suppose.
