Rolling Pin Donuts reviews
12These donuts are fluffy, soft and freaking delicious, love their branding and design as well, you don’t see a lot of country themes in cities. Lovely staff and very helpful to new customers who haven’t had an experience with their doughnuts.
So it ain't no Mazetti's (my #1 spot for donuts), but the donuts are decent & always in stock, staff are friendly, and it's the only 24-hour donuts shop nearby (that I'm aware of, anyway). There's the occasional homeless Joe sitting in the parking lot (which is to be expected at most 24-hour joints), but I've never had any uncomfortable encounters with any of them. If I could change one thing about Rolling Pin, it would be accepting multiple forms of payment because I rarely carry cash (unless I'm dropping by after a run at Artichoke Joe's that didn't leave me high & dry) and-call me cheap-I don't want to pay $6 in ATM fees (RP's ATM fee + my bank's out-of-network fee).
Traditional style delicious donuts! Soft and ample fillings. I would definitely try their coffee next time.
I love old school donut shops! I love a good fritter and it did not disappoint! This was my second trip this week while in the area. I had a bran muffin and coffee the first trip. The wrapper was a pain to remove but the bran muffin made up for it!
Been coming here on special occasions at least a few times every year for one or two doughnuts. Recently bought a box of dozens for my coworkers. There’s a regular dozen and an upgraded dozen for about $19 and $22 respectively now. The upgraded dozen only gives you 6 or 7 of the better doughnuts (cream filled, jellies, etc.) the rest are the basic round doughnuts. Unfortunately, I didn’t know about this because the lady helping me didn’t fully explain it until after paying. I was going to buy two dozen but was frustrated and decided the store didn’t deserve more business that day. I suggest that customers asking for a dozen be asked, “Do you want regular or upgraded dozen? ” And then the clerks can explain the details from there. Btw, the quality has gone down over the years. The long john custard filling used to be smoother and have a nicer vanilla flavor than what they sell now.
Donut holes were thick and dry and barely had a glaze covering them properly. I would advise against this shop.
This donut shop is way better than Krispy Kreme because they bake donuts fresh daily, and they have a wide variety to choose from. Also, they are open 24/7, and the staff is super sweet and friendly, which I love.
This is the place mid pennisula to get donuts.
Most people give happy donuts shops 4.5 stars, I give them 3.5. This place has the same donuts plus more.
Coffee is gourmet, about 8 different ones to chose from.
There's always tray upon trays of newly made donuts all times of the day.
Best donuts to me. I've had Crispy creme and other donut shops, but they can't compare to the taste and price. This is the only donut shop I go to. Check it out for yourself and you'll love this place as much as I do.
Definitely one of our favorites. The vibe feels like.this spot is a secret that everyone knows about, but it's undisclosed. The treats are amazing. The ladies that help us each time have been so patient and kind. Definitely worth the 5 stars. Bonus is the 24hours situation and great hot tea variety.
The menu here is amazing! Like if you really don't know what you want to eat but you tryna be plant-based, Vegan Gold is such a great place to go to. It really be the *gold* standard for vegan restaurants - see what I did there LOL.
Best donuts on the Peninsula! I always stop there on the way to my mechanic. For some reason they always take great care of my car! Yes, the donuts are for the shop!
