Romano's Macaroni Grill reviews
15I love the Macaroni Grill because the food is great and I get great service. They always greet you with a smile.
Always a great experience when I go. Staff is friendly and the food and drinks are great. Their Happy Hour is a good time and they even had a customer appreciation day with free spaghetti and meatballs.
I was expecting a lot of macaroni options but there was only 1 with fancy truffle sauce. The build your own pasta didn't even have a macaroni option. Food was average for an Italian place. Loved that you're given crayons and can draw on the table! Wait staff was very nice! The fried macaroni balls were super good too.
Haven't been here for over a decade! Shrimp Portifino and caeser salad are my fav! The cannolli does not disappoint! A must try! Our server, Hollis is exceptional! Be sure to come down, ask for him and tip him BIG.bc he deserves it! Macaroni Grill should recognize how well he represents their company. Completely above and beyond service!
Our reservation was at 8: 15 and waited about another 15 minutes however we got served promptly.
The food was absolutely delicious I hadn't been there in quite a while but I will certainly make sure to go back soon service was very very good so was atmosphere.
We have come here many times. We sit at the bar and eat. The first time we came we met Dolly! She is the bar tender on the weekends and every time we came in after the first, she remembered us, what we like to drink, what we ate last and what we like and didn't like! We always feel comfortable knowing she will be there! Not only is she attentive to our eating and drinking but she's become a friend! We wish her the best and the establishment is a better place because she is there!
Went with a group, the restaurant mishandled nearly every aspect of our group's lunch. Cannot recommend this location.
The food here is always very delicious. I get the create your own pasta with the Capellini pasta with Alfredo sauce, with shrimp & Italian sausage. It's so good️️
Great place to eat and bring a date with you and just step up the good services and food and need vegan choice options.
Macaroni Grill in El Cerrito is a terrific American Italian-inspired chain featuring architecture that would make Frank Lloyd Wright blush. The atmosphere is quite electric, comfortable, and enjoyable for a chain; significantly more rustic and unique than many of their chain restaurant peers.
Their artisan bread is simply delicious. They have a tremendous variety of appetizers, including a bruschetta bar and mac-n-cheese bites, which I highly recommend for the happy hour specials. The service is always quite friendly, aside from one time over 7 years ago, but we won't bring that up. And who doesn't love their place settings with crayons?
I highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken Parmesan and Truffle Mac n Cheese, which are both tremendously delicious when they are on their game. They also feature scrumptious desserts like cheesecake and key lime waves.
With that being said, if you're looking for more authentic Italian, check out La Strada in San Pablo. I'd consider their food slightly better and significantly more consistent than Macaroni Grill, but nothing beats the Macaroni Grill and their bread on a rainy day!
The food and wait staff are always exceptional here! There is a calm dining atmosphere and their plate descriptions are accurate.
Servers are super friendly and attentive, but the food is outrageously overpriced for the quality. The alfredo sauce was far too watery and there were even some cold spots. This is my second time with a poor experience. I got a basic meal (pasta, dessert item, and drink) and it totaled to 40$. I was shocked. There are better, and cheaper places you can go to.
This is a place where you want to have meal with your friends, nice and cozy.and affordable
