Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego reviews
13They are amazing they provide Foods for the parents that has their kids with cancer and can't buy their own food. The food is really good, tasty and most of all it is not one thing that parents should worry about. Thanks to Ronald McDonald's.
They're there for you when you need them.
Very kind staff with generous hearts in 2019 helped us through a life altering, traumatic, situation.
The staff at the front desk is LAZY. They make life entirely too difficult and then expected me to do her job. Shoving a mom and four children into a room with ONE BED is probably illegal, if not totally unsatisfactory. Take some lessons from the Loma Linda facility in regards to customer service, processes, acceptable standards, etc.
Reduce your stress, try to find other options.
This place is amazing. It provides a place for families to stay that either can't afford a hotel for a month or a few weeks. They have a full kitchen and anything you could possibly need to survive during your hospital stay at rady. I cannot speak highly enough about what this place is able to give to families in need. For a parent who has a kid with a serious heart condition the last thing we wanted to think about was how we could afford a hotel room for three weeks. Hopefully you will never have to use this service but if you do this place has earned a place in our hearts. If I could give it six stars I would. The staff and the family staying there all super friendly and very helpful. I know for sure we will be rounding up whenever possible at McDonald's for the Ronald McDonald House.
Wonderful organization and nicest, most well-kept rmh facility and I’ve volunteered at 4 across the country.
Volunteer and donate. Families are stressed but knowing that others care gives them the support they need.
Love this place. They really have helped me stay closer to my child at Rady’s children’s hospital. They help you in so many ways. Beautiful place and the rooms are spacious. They have a play area for children, a gym, a kitchen, extra restrooms. If you are allowed to stay there they provide everything so that you do not have to worry and just worry about visiting your child. It’s quiet so you don’t really hear your neighbors. It’s really great that they do these for families with sick children.
You can't beat having a giant welcome back hug from your sisters after being in the PICU and thank you Matt and everyone in The Ronald McDonald house for having a place to keep us together as a family.
What a wonderful place for families going through times of trial and especially times of healing. Beautiful foundation indeed.
These people are a blessing during the hardest times of being a parent. If it wasnt for them I wouldnt have eaten while I was there with my son
Very nice place to go especially if your at Children's Hospital they are literally across the street. Free meals to help, the inside is very clean and modern like.
Really nice place they make you feel like home I was visiting them when my daughter and son had surgery they have 3 meals and you can shower there and wash clothes ect also stay there but i preferred to stay at the hospital because I live in San Diego and I think other people that come from far away will benefit of those rooms. God bless to all the people that make this place possible.
I have no words to describe this place without being to personal. My family was helped so much. So many many many children are sick and help is here! We have seen this place from the inside instead of just hearing about this place. Love comes from all the volunteers. We love and thank every single one of you for your time.
