Terrible customer service/ empathy. I was charged $32 for a “clean up” of my eyebrows where I had a few hairs but she went way up and ruined my shape. She kept brushing them over and over trying to make them look better after she ruined them. I asked for a chin and lip clean up too and she left a bunch of hairs close to my nose. I asked her to please clean those up and she wanted to charge $7 more. (That usually comes included in an upper lip service almost at any threading salon) I’d never been somewhere where they leave that and then try to charge you extra after getting your lip done. I mentioned that politely and was just told that “they need to pay rent too” getting super defensive when I just made a comment about if they want to retain clients it might be a good idea to just do it, (it was just a few hairs; but looked bad because they left the lip clean)

Didn’t apologize let alone acknowledge that my eyebrows were damaged.

I have been coming here since 2015 and they are the best! Everyone is super nice and they have very clean restrooms

Funny note: I came here after a breakup once and they left my eyebrows looking stupendous. Lol. Idk but I felt way better after that service. Hehe. Thank you!

Sabina and the other girls are excellent. The full brow picture is their work. The one with the thin brows, irritation, and bleeding is the work of a new employee who's name starts with an R and who wears glasses (not Roopa the owner). Please avoid this employee, she needs a lot more training.

It's the third time I've gone and the first time I had a good experience, but this last time it was disastrous, I had my eyelashes curled and they burned them, when I left there I looked at them as very small but I thought that when I washed them they would look better, I waited two days to wash my face normally and my eyelashes are still selected and my hair is curly and it seems like I don't have eyelashes. I'm not going to complain because none of the 3 girls speak Spanish and they don't understand me. I also plucked my eyebrows and they left me with hairs and poorly made, the Girl that day was in a hurry, I don't know what to do with my eyelashes now and I feel frustrated that I can go to complaints because I don't speak English, I showed her a photo of how I wanted them and my eyelash was curled up and stuck to the eyelid

I’ve been a loyal customer to Roopa for about 3 years; I drive from Compton to get my eyebrows done here.

I have never had a problem with any of the eyebrow technicians until today. I asked for a simple clean. She definitely exceeded my expectations by cleaning too much on the start of one brow. When I pointed out the mistake, she decided not to acknowledge it (even after I pointed out the difference with my finger) and responded with a haste, “I did what you asked, clean. ”

It gets better! This same technician didn’t want to tell the other employee there was someone else in queue waiting in their car to be helped.

This uneasy experience pivoted the loss of a loyal customer.
