Rosarito's Mexican Food #7 reviews
13Although parking isn't the greatest (you might have to park on side streets) the food and service is always amazing. The prices went up a bit but during these times it isn't a surprise. The food was still the BEST in San Diego!
Food is always delicious and fast
Owner are always friendly and helpful
My top favorite Mexican restaurant
This place is yummy! I always get the carne asada plate and it never dissapoints. Only thing that sucks is the parking situation in front but you can park in the back too.
This used to be my go to place for Mexican food for my whole family. Not anymore. I will never give them my money again. They have become greedy. I went in there and asked for six hot sauces for my five rolled tacos. The rude lady at the counter said “NO! ” I can only give you four. I said why is that? She pointed to a sign and said that’s what the sign says. I asked how much for more hot sauces. She said 50 cents each. WOW! Their food is already super expensive. Now they want to be greedy and try to get more money out of your pockets. Unbelievable! Really bad business practices. They are willing to lose a loyal customer over one dollar worth of hot sauce. Goodbye Rosarita’s. Fire the person who created this new policy. You are going to lose a lot of business just so you can make a few dollars off your hot sauce. Cotijas and Roberto’s i’m back. I’ll give them my money instead.
1st Ever in all years going there. We called it in from right after a GREAT GAME WIN FOR OUR SON SOCCER. NEXT THING YOU KNOW, WE'RE SITTING LIKE 30-35 MINUTES FOR OUR ORDER. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND NO A/C N HOT EVERY WHERE.
Positives: not busy, prompt with food, burrito was gigantic for the price (veggie)
Negatives: the assembly of the giant burrito was poor. By the time I got to the bottom, it was a giant soggy mess. I didn't finish it and that's saying a lot. It just became unpalatable. Their salsa lacks flavor and one was so gelatinous that upon trying to pour it our, the entire thing clumped out and spilled onto my pants. Flavor was lacking. Pretty basic stuff.
No return visit necessary. I won't find myself craving this.
Really good taco shop if you're in the Lemon Grove area. Carne asada is goooood and pretty clean. I have issues with lots of fat on meat and they do a good job of giving you good clean pieces. Pretty much everything I have had there I have liked.
One of my favorite Mexican food spots. Been coming to this location in particular for years. They remodeled recently and it looks great. Prices on the menu have gone up drastically from when I first started coming here. But this is expected with inflation. Carne Asada Fries used to only be $5 Over double that price now.
Always Good Food at a Fair Price Here. I Even Bring Friends Here That Visit From Outta Town.
I only get a bean and cheese burrito with rice and sour cream from here. And it is always good. Good customer service and quick food preparation l.
What can i say, Their food is really delicious and not overpriced, I loved their fish tacos And beef roll tacos
Not like they use to be. Food was really good when owner was there. Bless him R. I. P. More friendly yrs back. Now just not the same, but a quick meal, Chille Rellano is pretty good. Carne asada good, not the best it can be, use to be.
First timer on this Taco shop. Tried the Adobada burrito and a cheese quesadilla. The adobada was actually good.when I asked the cashier for a lemon she said they're 75 cents + tax each (can't eat the adobada without come on) them another customer ask for 2 lemons for another $1: 50. They make good money out of their lemons. 4.1 rating.
