Rose Donuts, San Diego CA

Really nice donuts and they have a specialty dozen that mimics a dozen roses type order (meaning special donuts in a long delivery box). Some items can sell out quickly so plan ahead for Friday/payday mornings. The standard sugar donuts, buttermilk bars and apple fritters are all excellent.

Coffe and donuts but no Decafe? I walked right back out. I've yet to visit a donut shop that doesn't serve decaffeinated coffee besides Roses. I can't have caffeine but I still enjoy a morning coffe to take my medication with. I feel like Rose Donuts is choosing to eliminate a certain clientele.

Lady was trying to rush me to take my order even after my kids were deciding not even for a minute on What donut they wanted and kept trying to say that’s it that’s it and tried to rush us out the door Rude and unprofessional won’t go here again

Love the freshly made croissants and coffee. Nice selection of donuts every morning. There is plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor seating.

Absolutely amazing! Donuts were very fluffy, muffins were delicious and the meat filled pastries were top notch. The iced coffee was the best part!

It’s alright, i love the lady in the front she’s chill and really nice ima get that number one day but the glazed donuts be dry and then chocolate ones aren’t the best either

Visited Rose donuts for the first time today. Ordered the chicken salad sandwich with everything and 2 donuts; 1 glazed twist and 1 maple glazed with bacon. The sandwich is a solid 8 on a scale from 1-10. No complaints there, all the veggies super fresh, crisp cold lettuce, lots of pickels, perfect croissant which was toasted so it was crisp and flakey on the crust. A really good sandwich! I could even go up to a 9 on it.
Now the glazed twist which is my go to choice for donuts. Light, soft, super fresh tasting. Really good. But the super star was that maple bacon. Oh my goodness! Donut, super soft, fluffy, fresh.maple, perfectly sweet, not overly sweet. Nice real maple flavor; the bacon, perfectly crisp and the bacon ratio was perfect! Perfect balance of salt to sweet. Did I mention it was perfect? Well it was. PERFECT! Go here. Get the bacon maple donut. You're welcome.

This place is delicious, I love their sandwiches. The only thing is I think they clean their sandwich board with acetone or something because it smells like it. Other than that fair prices and creative donuts.

This place has the best breakfast bagel sandwiches and donuts. I always get the bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich, make it a combo for like $1.50 extra and you get a donut and orange juice. For around $7 you can’t really beat that deal. It doesn’t hurt that the people working here are also super friendly.

Just in town for a few days, craving donuts. Ordered online to be delivered, (by post mates). The driver got lost but no big deal. The donuts i recieved were no where even near the donuts I ordered.turns out if you order "1/2 doz donuts" you should call and actually tell them exactly which donuts you want or, even tho the site says you can pick there, or they just do a random selection. So the girl I talked to there, Gabby, not only explained it all to me but she got ahold of the delivery company, after I had tried for half an hour, got my order refunded, and then offered me another half dozen on another day! THAT'S great customer service! I will be ordering again but NOT with a delivery service!

Cool place to meet and catch up with coworkers. The service was very kind and attentive. It has a good feel to it.

Super tasty. I had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. This place has a good feel to it. Feels like a place in Los Angeles I liked.

Stopped in on a Tuesday. Next time I'll be back with my relatives. It has a nice interior.

Great donut shop, way better than dunkin or Krispy kreme. Go here a few times a month for donuts. Also great way to.help small business!

Best mom and pops donut shop in San Diego. They have all the classics. Glad to live nearby when I need my donut fix.

Cake donuts are dry and salty. No longer do the orange cake donuts. No longer the quality provided in the past.

Didnt update the menu after new ownership. No breakfast sandwiches, only breakfast croissants, no eggs. Everything looked wonderful.

I love this place always quality food & service. Staff treated us so kindly. The bill won't shock you. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I liked to visit.
