14Didn't have a very long wait to be seen. The customer service was satisfactory and pleasant but wasn't able to complete my registration due to back fees. Unfortunately it happens but I will b back in a couple months to pay the fees and get her tagged.
Clean place, wait sucks but usually not more than 1 hr. They have nice restrooms should you need them.
“There’s always room for improvement”.
This is way better than Folsom DMV. The staff are we’ll manage and have a great decent attitude. Unlike any other dmv around Sacramento.

This is chaos, reeking of Nazism.because I am not a citizen, she told me that having a dl is not a right, but a privilege! This is real disgusting!
Didn't have appt, it only took 40 mins. The lady told me what was wrong with my regs and proof of insurance, the O was reading as a 0, in the VIN so it was rejected every time!
THIS IS THE WORST DMV I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. I took my behind-the-wheel test here and DO NOT recommend taking the test with the blonde middle aged short hair white woman blue eyes wrinkly big and she wore a pink beanie. She told me to turn left in a RIGHT TURN ONLY lane. I did everything perfectly. She failed me. She wanted me to switch over 4 lanes but there was traffic, it was not safe and nobody was letting me over. So, because of this, she started to YELL AT ME. How is this MY fault that there is traffic? Want me to crash into every single car to get into the turn lane? I ended up making a U-turn at the next turning lane. She was RUDE, disrespectful, unprofessional, and slammed my car door and almost hit another car with my car door. Absolutely do not take your test with her. She is clearly unhappy with her life. This is absurd. Now I have to RETAKE my drivers test. I am NEVER EVER coming back here. Mind you, the staff themselves are incredibly rude for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
Surprisingly, it was well organized and not crowded. The people we interacted with were very friendly.
Shameless employees. Windows 16,17,18 don't work. They just conversate with each other.
Went for my drivers test and women who tested me was very unprofessional. She did not say who she was, kept bringing up how it was my second time taking the test, and at the end of my test shammed me and was being very condescending. She was treating me like a little kid and trying to put me down. Not to mention the reason she failed me decided to make up her own route and fail me for not going into the tiny bike lane to make a turn when it wasn’t needed. Not to mention she filled out the test paper wrong and wrote her name so you can’t read it. She was literally the worst person I have ever talked to, she’s Middle Aged with blonde hair and was wearing a face make would try and avoid her if you can.
Better than other, but anyway this dmv is a bunch of incompetent people who cannot even check what is going on with DL application. My wife was coming there 5 (!) times to just renew her DL. Every time she hears only "wait 2-3 weeks and DL is gonna come". But nothing is coming. Nobody can tell why. They cannot call to supervisor, they cannot check in their system, they cannot do nothing.
Could not take my test in peace, no privacy and the man that was guiding people to do their applications/test was rude. Will not return to this location.
The front desk girl that handles appointments needs to fix her attitude and learn how to do her job professionally. Second time here in a week and the same issues each time, with her and her attitude. It’s obvious she doesn’t like her job and it shows in her attitude towards customers.
I had a broken leg (nothing time won't heal), but the lady behind the counter was apparently smarter than my doctor and needed a doctor's note that I can drive!
I got a doctor's note.
She now needed a "Department of Transportation " doctor to approve me.
So I spent $200 and got that.
STILL NOT ENOUGH! She needed me to have yet another doctor fill out another form stating I'm not blind, diabetic, and don't have seizures! ITS A BROKEN BONE LADY! IT WILL HEAL 100% IN 6 WEEKS!
So I get yet another doctor to fill that out and he's laughing the whole time, because it's the stupidest thing he's ever heard of, but he's getting paid.
And then one month later I had an interview with some director from headquarters to confirm I wasn't a danger to anyone on the road!
Moral of the story is the idiots at DMV who never passed 9th grade, think they are more knowledgeable than doctor and 3 doctors are still not good enough to convince a DMV worker that a broken bone will heal!
(These are the people running our government offices)
BTW, the employees name is Shannon, I promise you, she will make your life miserable!
