Ross Dress for Less, San Leandro CA

People beware, they're selling you disposable bags at the price of reusable. Beats the purpose of having a law that prohibits the use of disposable bags. They're making bussiness out of it.

I was able to find what I was looking for they had plenty of that particular item yeah. So I was in and out in a little of 20 minutes. This is a beautiful place well kept and well-stocked I always enjoy coming here.

Super nice employees, the manager that was there today I believe her name was beatriz. Really knowledgeable of the whole store probably one of they best costumer service I've had.

Long story short came in today, had a question so I asked the lady (janey) at register 1, there was no line so I was not holding her back from helping any other customers. Asked her the question and literally got the rudest response back there was no need to talk like that I was not talking loud or rude to her so I don’t see why she needed to be rude. I was ready to pay and she said she will take me, someone asks to see jewelry and she literally tells me to wait while she shows jewelry.why would u tell me u will take me but then help a customer that came after me. So I tell her “I thought I was next” then she proceeds to be extremely rude saying I don’t know the policy. She calls for backup and has the other person ring me up on her register while standing there watching. They need to have associates that are friendly and have a nice tone of voice working in the front. They need to do something about this lady.that is NOT okay.

Came in a few minutes ago at 6: 45 p.m. On 4/11/2019 to purchase a picture frame. First, this is the only Ross store that I've ever shopped at that has NO public restroom. Next, I get to the cashier named Eboyne who was extremely rude & didn't greet my or my $$$. This young lady should never work with the public. I will not be back to this Ross. In addition, the merchandise is limited and mimicks a dollar store.

I came to browse around today with my daughter and grandaughter. We were minding our own business when we started hearing all this comotion going on, turns out the Store Manager was arguing with another customer, apperantly had got caught stealing. Problem I had was the way the manager handled the situation, cursed words were exchanged between manager and the customer I understand and im not in no favor of people stealing, but from a customer perspective, the manager was very unprofessional specially around other customers who didn’t need to hear all that. She didnt think twice about the safety of the customers, what if the person had a weapon? What then? At that point I realized it wasnt a safe place to shop. I would highly encouraged who ever is in charged of reading these reviews to properly train the employees and apparently upper management. Safety should be number 1 priority and I believe the Manager didn't care about her and the customers safety.

They had what I was looking for. Barely had a line. I was able to get in and out. The store was clean and I was greeted at the door.

DONT bother coming to this ross manager "senada" is really rude even the way I saw her talking to her employers. I wanted to buy a big painting but I wasn't finished shopping so I went to the front and asked the lady at the door if I can keep it with her until I'm done shopping she told me to ask the manager behind register 3. I went to ask her and she strictly told me NO because she doesn't have room.when there is two separate sides of registers but yet theres "no room". So I had to take 2 carts shopping one just for the painting.after I paid I asked her if I can leave it at the door while I bring up my car (I had about 5 bags plus the huge painting) she just says no.with no explanation. Just don't waste ur time here just go to Burlington next door!

There were 4 of us in line and 1 new cashier helping a customer while 3 other employees stood at the counter doing some inventory. I asked if there was only 1 cashier working so they finally asked an employee in the back of the store to help. Finally they started to help me while 1 of the employees started picking up returns behind the counter. There were still 4 customers waiting in line and the manager on duty didn't care. The worse customer service I've experienced in a long time.

Went shopping with a friend. She selected and tried on six outfits. 4 dresses and 2 active wear pants. The final purchase was the two pants. The dresses went back because they didn't fit. One was too long, the next was too old fashioned, number three was just plain ugly, and last one was a nice fit, but she didn't have shoes to match. Maybe next time Katie.

Smaller brand selection of women's clothing compared to other Rosses but still same great prices. For instance I always buy Calvin Klein from Ross but this chain did not have anything from him

Service dog friendly, to me this says a lot about a store and the management/employees! Best Ross is at Bayfair Shopping Mall. Even the security there is nice, friendly and helpful. The employees are great. I wish I'd written down names, but there's one lady there who is out of this world kind. She's also very honest, I've asked her numerous times if an outfit looked good on me and she'll answer truthfully. She helped me pick out my Christmas outfit, nothing I would buy. But I looked Great, because of her. Thank you Bayfair Ross!
