Pizza Restaurant Rosso reviews
15Thanks! "That's Yellow polo bartender, "Rk" is the best! " We were hungry from a trip from Point Reyes Drake Beach on our way to Middleton. Reservations a must
Just had our first experience, and we will be absolutely be going back. The brick oven pizza was fantastic! The staff offered a dough ball for our son to get creative with before cooking it up for him to eat with a dipping sauce. Such a great idea to get kids involved in their meal.love it. A fair amount of wine choices, we enjoyed ours. Cool atmosphere.
DELICIOUS- this pizza is incredible. Had the olive and sausage pizza and I loved every bite of this wood fired goodness. The service was friendly and the place was casual to eat alone, meet up with friends or bring the whole family. Definitely will keep this one on my favorite list when back in the area. They also have nice variety of wines to pair with your selection.
We've been coming to Rosso for many years. Love their style! The buratta/prosciutto/Parma with pizzetta, fabulous. Definitely try the fried chicken dinner, it's AMAZING! Salads and pizzas all good. Service as well!
Absolutely outstanding. The bartender and his wife are hilarious. We had the best time. Definitely bringing more friends there
Although the fare was too salt-heavy for my taste, they made up for it with their gluten-free pizza crust! An actual, hand-made gluten-free crust. Joy!
Food and wine exceeded my expectations! Loved the burrata and la pera pizza is a must. I will go back again
Our first time here. What an unexpected surprise. Food was delicious. Fun family place to dine. Christina was awesome with some great food recommendations. Must try the fried chicken and I’m not even a fried chicken person. So good.
Wasn’t sure what to expect from this place but we were blown away by the food! Service was great and vibe is very chill and casual. Playlist was super fun, we’ll be back. Thanks everyone!
Always a pleasant experience and most interesting food thats awalys evolving. Terrfic and knowledgable well trained staff. Eclectic will list. NO CABERNET.
First time visiting Rosso since the Petaluma location closed. The food was really incredible. I tried the polenta with roasted winter squash, and sauteed greens. The saltiness of the veggies and cheesed perfectly complimented the creaminess of the polenta- It may be the best polenta I've ever had! The pizza we ordered was also on point, perfectly crispy with slightly blackened crust and delicious sauce and fresh mozzarella. Rounded out the dinner with a local small production Zinfandel. We will definitely be back soon. The service was great and the atmosphere inside was festive and welcoming. Bravo Rosso.
Great casual dining spot for solid Italian. The salads are beautifully crafted and the pizzas are full of well-curated flavors with a nice crisp crust. The surprise hit of the evening was the linguine vongole. A bit of a riff on the tradition, but absolutely delicious.
This has turned in to our family's favorite restaurant. Everything from the most simple cheese pizza (kids love it) to the Fried Chicken is simply awesome. Staff treats you like family. They know many of the customers well, and I think that's a big reason most come back. We had my birthday gathering on the new back patio. Super fun space and the food is always on point. You can't go wrong with anything there, but trust me.try the exotic pizza options, fried chicken, and different bruschettas. Definitely more than just a pizza place!
So quaint. Service is friendly and the food comes hot and quick. They use a brick oven for their pizzas and I think they do an amazing job getting the food out with wonderful quality.
The pizza's are terrific if you like thin crispy wood fired crust.
I had the Carne which has cured meats, cheese and a Napolitano red sauce base.
Super delicious,
can't wait to go back for another one!
