Rossotti’s Alpine Inn, Portola Valley CA

Lots of room and very cool outdoor space. Got the Brutus salad, was delicious and big enough to share for two people. Also got the besio pizza and was fantastic - loved having honey on it. Best part of alpine was that they give you an entire water pitcher at your table. Wish every restaurant would do that!

The food tastes amazing! It also comes out so quickly after you order. Service is great and they are kind. The outside seating is beautiful and warm with heaters set up in all areas. Great place for date night or gathering with friends. Definitely worth a visit.

I don't know whether I was super hungry at the time but hot damn their pizza was soooooooo damn good! I forgot the name but it was the one with various types of meats. I'd go back more often but what's deterring me is the chaos with finding parking in their lot. Last time I had to park far on the street on a dirt shoulder with a slope down so that was scary. Also it was pitch black there. The drinks were pretty good. I liked their easy QR/mobile ordering system and payment! Other thing I didn't like was when we got booted off our table due to a time limit when there were numerous other open tables around.

A beautiful spot for brunch on a weekend! Outdoor picnic benches style seating with heaters for chilly days. Food is ordered through the phone and service was really quick. Everything we had tasted amazing!

Wow! Quite a change from prior - the expanded beer and food menu. I missed the old school approach, in someways, but overall, this is an incredible location for drinks, dinner, and camaraderie. Well done!

It's a very big place, brother! Poora Stanford's grandchildren come. VCs also come. All big deals are also signed here. And here the food is delicious. Come here.

I had not been here for probably 10 years. I knew it changed ownership in 2019. The old place was better in my opinion. I liked the old burgers and their fries better. Not that what I ate on this visit was bad. I had the Alpine burger with cheese and bacon, and a side of fries. It was good, but as I said, not the "old good" it was in the past. Service was excellent. You order and pay at your table via your phone. Servers were spot on with service. It appears its all outdoor seating now. Many benches to sit at. There was one area that had covered tables, but they were full. I would go back again. Sorry for no photos. I forgot!

Only negative was frozen margaritas were pretty weak.

This place is fun! Great stop after a hike at Arastadero preserve. Nice atmosphere and very speedy service. I like the community feel.

If you see a line, know that it usually moves quickly. There’s a lot of seating options. Pet friendly! We stopped at night for a drink - Reposado and try the alcohol free crushed berry drink (sugar free). My guest had a burger which I tasted & it’s juicy, good flavor, nothing overpowering. Apple pie was a nice warm send off. Service and the vibe is fun, warm & outdoor seating makes it great to enjoy our beautiful weather.

The atmosphere and service here is absolutely on point. Parking is impossible but once you get inside it's a well oiled machine and a beautiful setting. Unfortunately the food was just ok. The garlic flatbread was delicious but the tri tip sandwich and pulled pork were a bit of a let down. Great beer and drink selection and every staff member was extremely friendly.

This spot is quintessential Silicon Valley. Check out the photos on the wall inside. … You’ll see pictures from the original Stanford football teams. You’ll see names carved into the benches from 40 to 50 years ago. It’s just a quintessential little slice of this area of the country. Highly recommend and sit outside. The wings are delicious.

Really special outdoor restaurant with a nice forested atmosphere, heat lamps, and reasonably priced food and drinks that are very good. This place knows what they're doing! We'll definitely be back when in the neighborhood
