3Some guys from Modesto came to do some restoration work. In the process one of them was alone upstairs and went through drawers and stole a ring. When my husband called the company a supervisor returned his call and told him that he highly doubts that happened. It is very disappointing that this company doesn't seem to care or want to make things right.
Excellent service. Tenants called to report rental house main drain line backed up on a Saturday night. On Sunday morning, I called my usual plumbing company in Merced, CA "24 hr, 7 days" emergency number and left a message with answering service, but got no reply. Next I called 2 other highly rated plumbers who advertised "24/7 emergency service" in Merced, and both were uninterested in coming out on a Sunday. Fourth call was to Roto-Rooter. Friendly, professional intake process was followed up within the hour by text notifications that the tech was en route to the house to help the tenants. After checking the cleanout, tech contacted me with an immediate solution, plus 2 additional options to prevent the problem from recurring. Friendly technician. Super low-pressure on the additional services recommended. Since it was Sunday, I authorized the immediate repair only. Tech completed repairs and sent me quotes for the additional recommended work in case I decide to do it in the future. I paid over the phone with Visa.
Rotor Rooter has a manager Kyle that decided to put us on a no service call due to a FREE ASSESSMENT, but wanted to charge us because his guys took longer than an hour! Explain, to me how is that free. They already are pricey and we have paid plenty of times for them to do a job! If a job is not being done, we should not be charged. Kyle had no cares to listen and or have any customer service skills. Kyle is the problem and a new manger should run this company!
