Royal Kabob & Gyro, Elk Grove CA

The bolona (bolo-knee) is closest to those made back home. It is fantastic. The chicken kabob is cooked to perfection and spiced just right. The atmosphere is decent, the employees are very nice and the price isn't gouging your wallet.

First time dining here. Usually go to other gyro places but this one is closest to my house and the food was great. Will go back! Had the traditional gyro plate and was not disappointed. What is different is that they used the pita as a pocket instead of as a wrap. So much easier to eat and you taste so much more of the food inside. When the pita is used as a wrap the bottom of the pita is all bread.

The food was great, I ordered the grilled chicken plate and the chicken was well seasoned and juicy. The salad and rice were good too, I love their Basmati rice! You can also see them making the food which makes it 100% better.

Amazing food and service. Great food at a great price. The company paid so i ordered more then I needed. It was all fantastic.

This little place had the best food!
Very fresh, cooked to order. We met a friend for lunch. We each had a different plate + shared the Bolani while we waited for those. We all agreed everything was yummy. Going back for dinner this week!

Please spread the word about this place. The best gyro I have ever had. All their ingredients are fresh and authentic, sauces executed to perfection. I work nearby so I will be coming back often!

I didn’t know this place was here so I thought I’d try it…fantastic! Had a combo plate with a chicken and lamb kebab and the veggie Samosa to start with…food was fresh with really great flavors! Very clean place, and really nice people…I recommend it and I’m definitely coming back!

Great authentic Afghan food. The staff is very friendly. The Bolani was perfect and Mantoo was also delicious.

Loved the nachos. Would recommend 100%. The only thing I was a little unsure about was that they don't serve hummus with their plates. The food was great though.

Good food. Around $15-20 a plate. Had about a 20 min wait time. Really kind and nice staff.

This is soo horrible, paid 80$, it was filled lettuce, no lamb and chicken, rip off. I would rather go starve all day.

Other similar restaurants in Elk Grove but they are the definitely the best! Fresh and delicious!

Bro seriously is this a joke. I paid 100 for food and they gave me literally a roll with nothing in it it was empty please don’t waste money filled. Waste of money. No chicken, no lamb ripped us off.
