Today was my first time getting a tattoo, and I’d have to say the experience was great! Mat was awesome as well as very kind. My nerves were spiraling since it was my first tat, but they made me feel comfortable, plus it wasn’t too expensive and I definitely see myself going back.

Royal Peacock on the east side has the best customer service I have experienced at a tattoo shop. My artist Matt took care of me and fixed my half done tattoo. He made it look beautiful as it was originally supposed to be. The guys at this shop have great energy and the place is well kept and super clean. I highly recommend this parlor for your ink needs!

I came here to get my first tattoo done by Mat and he did an amazing job! It was Farsi calligraphy on my ribs and it came out exactly how I envisioned it. He is very gentle and kind, definitely recommend coming here for amazing tattoos and friendly service!

Two of us walked in and got signed in and on the queue within a few min. Waited first come first served for two to finish. Work is clean, smooth, and professional. Fun shop and good tattooers

Matthew did a great job on my daughter’s first tattoo. Extremely friendly. I made the mistake of going to the other Royal Peacock shop on P Street but that’s a review for their page. Short review for them is to not let Jim work on you.

Every one in this shop was so friendly and accommodating, Matthew work on my piece and his line work was amazing and he has a very light touch. He added his own spin to the design I came it with and it looks better than I could have ever imagined. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area

This is a all around great tattoo shop. Art covering the walls, talented artists and great vibes. My husband and I both continue to go back, we love this tattoo shop.

This was my first time at the new location! Love the set up spacious, welcoming, and good vibes all around! I got my back tattooed and loved how it came out. I’ve had several long tattoo sessions throughout my life (at different shops) and this one was the best. I experienced minimal swelling, I usually tend to swell A LOT. My back healed beautifully and I’m going in again soon to add color. Very excited. Overall extremely satisfied. Ps-great artwork all over the walls made for some really cool photo opps!

Tony Grey is my artist for the last 6 years, he does incredible work, the new shop in East Sacramento is killer!

I went in with a small intricate henna type art. Dan Zapata took 5-10 minutes to recreate it into a tattoo friendly design. Loved the openness of the shop, not crowded, they have an ATM machine, small parking with a few spaces on the side but street parking is easy. Thank you Dan for making the design even better, and for being understanding and patient with me! I almost fainted and then because the smoke was really bad from the fire that week I had had random coughing from the allergies and smoke. Dan stuck through it all and was really patient!

Hands down the best tattoo parlor in Sacramento. All of the artist are top notch. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
