Roy's Towing, Thousand Oaks CA

Goodluck if you're stranded. 3 stars because this my my only experience with them and maybe they are usually ok? I broke down and they said they would be able to tow me the next day in the morning. I'll just sleep on the street I guess?

Our truck was picked up around 9 am I called at 10 am and was told my vehicle wasn’t here yet. Even though the yard was about 7 miles away from where it was picked up from. When I get there to have my vehicle released at 11: 40 am they told me that they would have to charge me 2.5 hours of tow fees plus storage. The personal in the office is rude and have no manners at all. They have the bill by the horns and that’s why they take advantage of people. Don’t recommend this business at all.

Getting out of jail and finding your car is never fun, but Roy's towing offerred pleasant customer service, efficiency and promptness. They had a clean restroom, and coffee station too. Security and locked gates at night to protect vehicles was a plus. The prices? Well, the cost of a night in impound is expensive at any impound yard, but Roy's towing prices seemed comparable to other impound/towing services around town. Overall, they exhibited professionalism with a smile. Thanks, Roy's Towing for keeping my car safe!

Technician got to me super fast and stayed courteous the entire way. Very supportive during a bad situation, he smelled good too. Thank you.

I have been using Roy’s for 29 years now. I had a car with a lot of problems and it got to the point where tow truck drivers knew me by name. They used to give me a ride home because my older cars broke down so many times On one occasion you guys drove me and my 4-year-old son back home as we were stranded on the 101 near Lynn Rd.
Imyou guys ALWAYS took such good care of me. Tonight my battery died in a very dark, pitch black parking lot across the street from several homeless people. I felt a little anxiety and when your driver showed up,
his smile, reassurance, caring and sweetness really put me at ease. I haven’t been treated that nice in a long long time and it was just so nice to have that interaction. Usually people are kind of grumpy during this strange time we’re having but your guy was just smiling and gave me a lot of good information I never knew. I tried to give a compliment to this young man on the AAA website tonight but for some reason it will not go through. I just called your office to make sure I got the man’s name and I just wanted to give him a glowing compliment. I will remain loyal to Roy’s and will pass the word on. This young man just made my concerns feel a lot less filled with anxiety. Thank you so much! I hope if I need you in the future that I get Nagif to my rescue again! He was such a sweet young man, answered all my questions, didn’t rush me and really put a lot of effort to get my car started!

I called AAA to be towed by these guys and they cancelled the tow. Then AAA sent it to them again and they didn’t bother reaching out to say they wouldn’t come. Then when I called, they said that I needed to call AAA, who no longer had human beings for roadside assistance. Basically, Dave with Roy’s kept pushing me off until I worded something wrong and he found s a legitimate reason to cancel the tow. This was after waiting for an hour and fifteen minutes. If you want someone who cares, do t use Roy’s

My Honda had to be towed to Midas in Simi Valley, Ca. Had requested a flat bed truck. Daniel was an awesome tow truck driver. He put my car on the flatbed and towed it over to Midas. He explain what he was doing and once he got to Midas, he took a picture to show me where he had put the cars key in the slot until Midas open in the morning. Great big Thank you all your help snd assistance. Your To your company great job!

My 8 year old boy and I had an amazing experience with Nino and Roy’s towing. The truck showed up 40 min earlier than estimated arrival time. We were updated with text messages as to drivers arrival.

Our driver Nino was amazing! He showed up with a HUGE smile and warm greeting. His calm and helpful nature was comforting and reassuring.

My 8 year old boy had never seen a car towed before and Nino helped create an almost amusement park like experience from him.

It was like a ride for him to sit in the big tow truck cabin after driving up the ramp.

Nino was friendly and chatty and my son an I took a shine to him like we’ve known him for years!

I would recommend this company to anyone in need.
I wish Nino well, my son will always remember is 1st towing experience fondly.

I have been towed many times over the years and this experience was by far the best as I got to share it with my son and Nino.

Junior was on time, responsive, professional, and friendly. The dispatcher (sorry, I forgot his name) called to prep for the tow; he was empathic because the tow was due to an accident and provided an accurate estimated arrival time.

Junior arrived with the correct carrier for a motorcycle and waited 5 min for me to get home (rapid response time) 45 min ETA was 30 min. When he called, I let him know we were leaving the new restaurant not too far from the house. Upon arrival, we chatted about the food - btw go check out Maru Kitchen in Westlake's delicious Korean food.

Junior confirmed where the motorcycle was being dropped off, the time of service closure, and the POC upon arrival. Alix at Harley in Lancaster called upon arrival of the bike, and Junior was there in the background to confirm all was well.

Thanks so much for the excellent service, Junior! This was my first experience with AAA towing and Roy’s towing of Thousand Oaks. It's not a business I look forward to using, but when the service is needed, it's nice to be in good hands with excellent customer service and good people who care.

Called and scheduled a tow for between 1: 30 - 2pm. Called in at 2: 10pm because the truck was not here and was told it would be at least another hour. When asked if that was ok I said no I scheduled the tow for the time I needed. He said ok canceled the tow and hung up on me. I do not recommend anyone to use this tow service nor will I ever use this service again. My gf and I are now outside in the California heat waiting on Eddie’s towing to show up. For anyone who reads this Eddie’s is better and cheaper.

Tow truck showed right on time as promised. Driver Juan Lopez was very professional and courteous. The whole process went flawless. Great job Roy's Towing for your professionalism.

We received Quality Service & Expert Help from the tech Juan Lopez.

My mom’s vehicle broke down in a foreign neighborhood and our tech came right on time and brought it home safely for us. He was diagnosing it for a few moments to try and get it started and ultimately ruled out specific issues so that the diagnosis would be narrowed for us. Our family will have these guys on speed dial from now in the case of a roadside emergency.

Very happy with quick and friendly service. My tire gas a big hole in it on a holiday weekend, and Roy's is here 25 minutes before time estimate. Great service, too.

Just had a torn flat tire on 23 freeway. I cannot believe the service I received.it was great, fast and courtesy.

One of the most unprofessional tow truck drivers I've ever met. Older gentleman (Christopher?) was unprofessional as soon as his feet hit the floor. Looked for every way out of towing my car, which he got, suggested driving a car I felt as unsafe in, and left me stranded for another 2 and a half hours. Being a technician at a dealership nearby, I thoroughly hope I never have the displeasure of seeing him again.
