Ruby's Diner, Santa Ana CA

The advantage of this bar is a large number of TVs, which can be treated as a sports bar. The food is good, I just wish the service was nicer.

It's probably the worst food I have ever had in my life. Also, I have never seen a restaurant stop breakfast so firmly before 1030, much less a diner.yet at 933, they were adamant that they won't do breakfast.

Our server was also pretty rude and disinterested. Hostess was nice, and their soda tasted correct. I wouldn't recommend it. Especially for the extortion-level prices.

They staff didn't seem happy to serve me because I asked how much certain drinks in comparison to others.

Can't really recommend, but not a lot of choices in the santa ana airport, first and foremost, found it incredibly strange that a diner style burger joint doesn't have mustard! But that i could live with, however when my burger was brought to me the server wasn't sure if it was my burger or another tables and asked me to peel the burger open to check, upon opening the burger it was in fact NOT my burger, thankfully she didn't give it to it's actual intended customer, but instead gave her mine, and told her to remove the toppings if she didn't want them, and then 5-10 minutes later brought me the toppings i was missing so i could assemble my own now cold burger.

They serve KD Mac and cheese but it was good. Drinks are okay. Nice diner decor that makes the place very homey

We had a confusing time trying to get someone to take our carryout order that we wanted for our plane trip. Staff today was not particularly friendly and acted like we were supposed to know to see the bartender for our order. The bartender was busy at the time.

The table was so dirty everything stuck to it, including my sleeves. Ruby's was always one of my favorite and this was really disappointing. John Wayne would not be happy!

One of best breakfasts Ive ever had! Corned Beef hash platter was just perfect. The Corned Beef was excellent, crispy yet smooth inside, super flavorfoul and plentiful. Poatoes were excellent. I rarely eat whole eggs because of consistency, but here they came on point, exactly how I asked for them. All perfectly capped with delicious rye toast and lots of butter. Plus the server was one of the nicest people ive ever encountered at a restaurant! Was always asking if I was ok or if I needed anything, "love"!

Waited more than 10 minutes without even being acknowledged. Plenty of servers and not an overwhelming amount of customers. Don't go here if you're in a hurry.

Slow, bad service, terrible customer service, soggy, bad, cold food made incorrectly and with extra items not listed on the menu. 1/10th the quality of any other ruby’s locations for double the price. Don’t waste your time.

We waited 10 minutes for service before flagging down a server, who said she’d send someone for us. 10 minutes later, we left.

Ate here with an hour and fifteen minutes until my flight and was left running to the gate. Food was ok but the service was horrible. Seemed to have enough staff to serve the number of tables if it was a normal restaurant, but tables weren’t bussed and our waiter was extremely slow.

Great service! Menu unfortunately lacks some options that the full-sized diners have like shakes, but the sandwiches are delicious. An excellent choice for a good-sized meal before a fight.

Looked a bit dirty. We walked up and a young girl said we could sit anywhere. We waited awhile then went to get our own menu. In that time no one came by or directed a word to us so we decided between the obviously not cleaned tables and lack of attention We'd leave.

Absolutely the worst restaurant experience ever. Rude servers, slow kitchen. Literally waited 20 minutes to get a server’s attention and another 30 to get our food.

The food was just as expected for airport fast food and the service was impeccable. The only complaint I could have is that the music in the background was a little bit to loud. Overall great place and I would definitely recommend.

We decided to eat here on our flight back home to Oregon from a week long vacation. We decided to eat here since it said it's only in Orange County. The server was nice and atmosphere was good. The tuna melt was good. The clam chowder was good, just needs more flavoring or seasoning. The fries were okay. Just basic fries. My fiance ordered o ion rings though and we're fairly certain they were forgotten. The server said they were coming and they did, but not until we were done with the rest of our meal. We're pretty sure they were forgotten. We were maybe expecting them to be free or maybe an apology, but it was like it was no big deal. The highlight was the tuna melt, but we probably won't be back. However, it's worth trying at least once.
