Ruck-a-Chucky Campground reviews
5Peaceful, a bit expensive compared to other sites especially since there is no potable water. No fish to be seen or caught.
Well I packed a backpack and I was going to go backpacking and have a camp at rookie truck haraka Chuck but the road is closed and it's closed for the season but from what I know about it it has four campsites that are free but in the summer there's like ten thousand people that go there.
I have always loved visiting here for the day and we just had our first opportunity to stay the night. The campgrounds are basic and the rafting companies are coming in and out during the afternoon, but the riverside location can’t be beat!
Very pretty campground. Just no cell service there. Ill definitely be going there again soon.
First come, first serve. Only four campsites. No indication if sites are available before committing to a twenty minute drive on a bumpy, pothole gravel road to determine availability. One of four sites has river view, all had walking distance to river access. Sites are close to the road in, so can be dusty. No water. Little shade.
