This restaurant is amazing! Cash only which means it’s good. I have been coming here for the past 10 years and the food is as good as the first time I came. Try the papaya salad with blue crab you will love it! The staff is amazing and friendly!

I haven’t been here for quite a while, thought I stop by for a quick dinner. Food here is still as I remembered. Love the duck over rice and crispy pork over Chinese broccoli. Price is also very reasonable.

The most authentic thai place in LA (said by thai myself). The price is reasonable with a big portion. The taste is super good. If you would like to to know where is the best thai place in LA. Come to ruen pair. You wont regret it. It can be abit busy on the weekend be prepared.

Best pad kee mao I’ve had so far. Indescribably good. Fried just so the noodles are dry. Green curry was solid and crab fried rice was not bad, though would prefer just rice and curry next time. They take credit card now, but will pass a 4% fee.

It's really good thai restaurant. I really enjoyed all the I was ordered. However I'm super full but I still keep going to put more but I can't. The best recommend.

The papaya salad the best the same in Thailand.

Located in Thai town, Hollywood. They used to be packed before pandemic. So far, this is the best Thai food I ever tried, their papaya salad is very yummy. Make sure to tell them about the level of spiciness if you can’t handle spicy. If you like Thai food, must try this place.

We've been coming here for over 16 years, however this is the second time they really disappointed us with the food and the quality we were served. The morning glory was filled with soon much fluid and the small container of chili was placed inside and was not sealed. Then the chicken soup tasted like old chicken bits with just hot water, there was no flavor what so ever. Last year they disappointed us as well with different plates and then forgot to add one order after they had charged us. Threw the soup away and that is the morning glory after draining the container which was filled to the top crest with fluid and the chili container that filled it up more. 16 years and this is farewell to this location for sure.

Certainly you can see diners from all other cultures and walks of life. Ruen Pair boasts quiet ambiance, casual atmosphere and friendly service. If you want to taste authentic Thai Cuisine this is is the great place to enjoy exotic delicacies from the southeast Asia. Enjoy also beers. Thai Iced Teas and last appetizer Chicken Satay the best one on the Hollywood few blocks area. As anywhere else food is in expensive and mouth watering. Parking available in an adjusting court area. Please visit this right out of Bangkok this small cozy outpost, containing Culture and meals of the area you desired. You will take taste of dishes in your palets and will remember this place to come back encore. RZED.

I love Ruen pair! They have the best soup here and love that their soup has so much flavor. I love the fact it has a spicy taste along with a lemony flavor. Highly recommend. As well as the morning glory and fish cake appetizer.
The pineapple fried rice and the steamed catfish was so so. Not enough flavor imo.

Nothing beat this place. Everything was delicious. Love their Seafood Tom Kha, Thai Boat Noodle, Pad Thai and Papaya Salad.

The Ruen Pair Thai Restaurant is our late night to go destination for delicious Thai cuisine. Its located at 5257 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90027 in the heart of Thai-Town. Ruen Pair is ideal for that midnight run when you have a craving for papaya salad with raw crab and larb chicken. The menu at this restaurant is expansive and you're guaranteed to find something delicious for yourself and the whole family.

It was good but certainly not the best. Ordered the Padu see iew with chicken, cashew chicken and chicken fried rice. Cashew chicken was the best of the three. I’d definitely come back for the Thai tea though - deeeelicious!

We ordered thai iced tea, seafood hotpot and chicken red curry. We asked for mild as Thai food can be very spicy. Portions are large and there was a lot of seafood in the hotpot. We enjoyed the food a lot and the servers are very friendly. We would come back here to try other items on their extensive menu.

Overall, I would come here again and try more items. Follow the locals when you are walking around and follow them in to establishments because they know where the good food is.
