I booked reservations for "running goose" knowing absolutely nothing about it other than it was walking distance to the pantages theater.what an absolute surprise (in a GREAT way) to have discovered this fantastic place.it's hard to believe that you're sitting outside just a few feet from the incredibly crowded hollywood-on-a-saturday-night-with-a-city-block-rave-going-on crowd, and yet we couldn't hear them.it was like an oasis in the desert.we decided just to share a bunch of appetizers to get an idea of what their food was like.the host (owner?) was simply the best.he visited every table to help with questions and was perfectly charming.he was also not overbearing, which drives me up a wall.his suggestion for my beer was spot on.we ordered the corn and tomato tostadas (not shareable so get your own), baked brie, gambas, and crispy calamari.for dessert we also shared the creme brule.everything was incredible.though i might order just 5-10 corn tosadas for dinner next time. YUM.the service was also impeccable.just the right amount of "being there when you need them" and no one rushing us out even thought we were clearly finished with our meal.as always, we tipped in cash and it was appreciated.for those who don't remember what actual money looks like.try that next time you go out to eat.can't wait to try lunch here next time.or any meal for that matter.thank you running goose!

Refined, delicious cuisine, fair prices.
Correct setting nothing more. Smiling but very fake service, we feel that we should not ask too many questions and above all hurry. Booked for 7: 30 p.m, arrived at 7: 15 p.m, from 8 p.m. We make you feel that you have to finish quickly and leave.too bad

Romantic outdoor setting in the patio area added to the wonderful experience. Food is delicious and the staff is attentive and made our dinner memorable. Cannot wait to go back.

Finding parking is a bit tough, but this is not fault of restaurant given that this restaurant is in Hollywood. Did find parking on street after circling around several times. I definitely recommend this place to anyone living in or visiting the area.

Amazing service. The cod churros were very interesting, personally loved it. The shrimp dish was delicious but only 4 pieces of shrimp. The short rib was a 7/10.

Before and after the pandemic, we have been going here to support and enjoy this amazing menu! I am always excited to dine here as their menu is from their actual garden in the back areas. Kind people work here who are great at explaining menu items very well! Great job everyone!

Incredible food. And super friendly staff. Every single item we tried was absolutely delicious. The potatoes with the burnt onion and dill dressing was just *chefs kiss*. The mushroom melt burger was incredible too. Highly recommend!

Dined here before going to the Hollywood Bowl. Great family run restaurant, service is spot on; everyone nice, attentive and prompt. Great indoor /outdoor setting.

Definitely try the tostadas. We had the corn and the arugula. Both were great little appetizers.

The food was truly excellent and exceeded our expectations.lovely staff and atmosphere.but the food really blew our minds and the menu is unique and diverse.

Great Service by more than one person. It's a hidden gem. The tostada's really stole the show. Tried them all but tomato one. We saved room for the fettuccine and smoked potatoes that we split. Creme brulee at the end. Check it out.

A must if you love food and different spices and flavors. Top service. My recomendación, beet quesadillas, crispy calamari and lamb tagine

Terrible place!
If you want to be humiliated by the owner of the place when asking to turn the AC on (in a super hot summer day) - so that's the place to go to.
We asked to turn the AC on and got ignored in a rude way.
Besides that, the place is very expensive and does not reflect the disgusting attitude of the staff.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A HORRIBLE SERVICE!

We walked into the restaurant and there were flies all over the place. The calamari came in a dog bowl. I ordered the duck and it came so quick that there was no other explanation than for it be microwaved. The texture was rubbery and gross. Although they were nice enough to give us 50% off. Be aware!

The food at Running Goose is very good! I had the mushroom melt and it was delicious. Also recommend their salad as a side because whatever dressing was on it was great. Service was good and they have a decent tap list. Not a huge wine selection but the wine I had was fine. Atmosphere is nice, sat out on the patio and enjoyed the space. Will likely return.

Great experience before a show at the Pantages. Service was quick and friendly, and a pitcher of Sangria is literally a pitcher. I would absolutely come back if I was in the area. We had Duck, gnocchi, lamb, fettuccine, and braised short ribs. All were delicious, but the short ribs were served in an odd way with just a few chips and sauce. It didn't feel or eat like an entrée.

We enjoyed our meal on the patio and the food was excellent and very healthy! The owner was very gracious to accommodate our party of 5 that turned into 8 people. Awesome service and I highly recommend this establishment.

Delicious food, reasonably priced, and a nice outdoor enclosed space, right on but separated from the main road. Reservation recommended around dinner time and before a show, we were glad to have one, there was a line outside for a while.

The restaurant is fairly small with a large outdoor seating area. The outdoor seating area has a nice atmosphere reminiscent of outdoor dining in Mexico with plants lining the walls and soft natural lighting. The server was also very helpful and nice.

The food was extremely mediocre considering the price and the stellar reviews. We ordered the lamb chop appetizer, the duck, the ribeye steak frits, and salmon. The lamb chop was overly salty and very small though the yogurt and tomato sides were really good. The duck was dry but pleasantly flavorful. The ribeye was okay. I ordered it medium rare but it came out medium. It came with a side of fries that were simultaneously soggy and burnt. It reminded me of days old fries in the fridge that have been microwaved one too many times. The salmon was actually really good. The salmon was moist and flavourful with crunchy skin. The accomping risotto was a delightful blend of savory and sweet.

They had a decent collection of beers and I ordered their "cider of the week". It was really good and came in a chilled glass but I was surprised it came out of a can and that it wasn't on tap.

I wouldn't come here again.

I wish I had photos of my food, but we were so excited about every dish that I forgot to take them! Absolutely delicious, and a lovely shady patio full of gorgeous greenery.
