Rusty Pelican

Rusty Pelican never disappoints! They changed their brunch around and now there’s no champagne included, you need to either pay by the glass or buy a bottle… I like their champagne they serve but seriously it’s so inexpensive to buy! They charge $29 a bottle and it’s seriously less than $10 a bottle, at wholesale it’s probably $5. The pandemic has caused so much to go up, can we ask for some small items to pre-pandemic? It would be a great gesture that customers would really notice and like!

Great food. Expensive. Wonderful service. Good view of the harbor. Unfortunately some screaming kids and inconsiderate parents made for a loud lunch. This one is much more upscale than the one in Florida!

The staff are very friendly. The restroom was clean. It has a nice floor plan. The food is delicious. Nice portions of food & desserts. A great view of the ocean & boats. My group of family & friends helped me celebrate my birthday at Newport Beach location.
One valet parking attendant was reckless in swinging the door open when parking our vehicle. He had a bad confrontational attitude once we addressed his careless behavior.

What a great place to host an event. We had over 70 people in attendance and never felt squished. The service was great and the buffet of food was fantastic. Highly recommend.

My birthday dinner was excellent! We enjoyed coconut shrimp, Cesar salad & sea bass. My daughter loved her kids salmon. Great service & a great view. We will be back!

Every time we are in Newport, we eat here. Great food, great service, and the views are amazing! Sit by a window!

Really nice food. Great location on the water. The downside was the service. Perhaps they were short staffed, but the service was very slow.

I had the best time here celebrating my birthday. The cuisine was excellent, and the entire crew provided us with outstanding service. Eric was considerate and helpful. I heartily endorse this eatery. The upstairs views of the marina are breathtaking. Thank you very much!

Typically the service is impeccable; however, this wasn't. Drinks weren't refilled without request and left empty, no clearing of plates even after stacking them on the table next to us, no visit by the manager, and no check backs on food quality after service.

The food and atmosphere were fantastic AND the service usually is. This particular visit was in the bar and the gal serving us appeared to be disinterested.

Had lunch sitting outside by tbe water. What a beautiful view. Food was fresh and yummy. Our server was delightful and attentive. Can’t wait to go back!

Even tho the burger was medium well (asked for medium rare) the burger tasted fantastic with the flavors coming together.

We made a reservation at this place for a large group. Great location next to pier. Friendly service. Valet parking is a convenience since it’s hard to find parking in Newport Beach. Food was really good. We tried several appetizers as well. Everything was great. It was a great experience.

So how can I tell you about a five-star restaurant it's right on the dock in Newport it is amazing beyond beyond the feel it does have a rustic comfortable atmosphere which I enjoy a lot and the service was fantastic the filet mignon everything was just outstanding I can't wait to come back here again you guys receive five stars and the views it just makes a dining experience more pleasurable job well done Rusty Pelican

Great location on the bay. The food was ok, but not great. The fish we ordered was bland - my wife couldn't finish it.
