S3 Coffee Bar, San Diego CA

Nice looking place but worst cappuccino I’ve ever had. Avoid if you are looking for coffee and not “vibes”

Came to get some work done. Great ambiance. Lavender London fog was delicious. My only wish is that there were more outlets; make sure your laptop is charged when you come!

Love the coffee and lattes here. The bagels unfortunately suck. Don't order the everything bagel it tasted plain. They should stop selling them.

Really nice coffee shop to seat and read a book or catch up with a friend. We order the rainbow latte with oat milk latte. Staff was really friendly and let us know that the colors show more with whole milk but they tried their best, and we really like it?

Ordered the peppermint mocha with 1 shot of espresso. Perfect amount of caffeine and sweetness. Loved the differing textures, particularly the tiny crunchy bits of candy cane.
It was chilly inside. The business wasn't heated. Everyone had winter coats and hats on. So.cold hands and feet. It was about 49°F outside and rainy.

Parking isn’t great at all, but the quality and vibe make up for it. Good menu with a nice variety of coffee and food. I had an iced honey rose latte which was refreshing for an early morning. Customer service was good.

I felt very out of place here, and the girl at the register was icy, I really got the impression that I wasn't wanted. It's an environment cultivated for the San Diego influencer, but not for your average joe. However, the food an drinks are really good, I have avocado toast and a large lavender London fog, both of which were excellent. But I didn't like being given a buzzer for when my order was ready, or having my order need to be picked up out of a little cubby. Ways to keep the staff from having to interact with the guests. It doesn't matter how delicious it all was, I won't be back.

My 2nd time coming to S3. First time at the new location. Great ambience, well lit, clean and they have really cute cat themed gifts for sale as well as coffees and teas to make at home. Ordered an Iced Honey Rose Latte and it is one of best coffees I've had in a very long time; sweet but not overwhelming with subtle rose flavor. Will definitely be coming here more often!

Something different! Our morning drink was an art. I don’t even want to drink it because it look so beautiful. Flavor amazing also! The gentleman explained everything.

Cute spot with aesthetic & tasty drinks. We got the honey rose latte and dirty chai with oat milk. I love how it comes in mugs with latte art if you are having it in store. Baristas are friendly and are quick with their service. They have two baristas working the bar for in store orders and another one working a separate bar at the drive thru. Super great set up that ensures customers are taken care of promptly.

Update: We been here several times and the service/products have always been great. However I have to remove one star as dogs were allowed inside the store and not just the outdoor seating which is against food service safety policy.

So everyone has already talked about the very pleasant ambiance/ decor and how awesome and fast the drive through is. I have been coming here for several months and I must say: the staff is top notch! Very friendly baristas and smiling managers carefully take your order, they are very accommodating to modifications on beverages (EXCEPT FOR MY NITRO COLD BREW WHICH I WISH I COULD GET IN A LARGER SIZE 'CAUSE IT IS DIVINE) and they have a rewards program which you can sign up for on their POS and collect rewards. The prices are a little high but you get what you pay for-quality. I recommend adding soft top to your iced coffee.

Came here for the rainbow latte and was not disappointed, it was absolutely delicious and the interior is also a cute place to hang out and study!

Had a sit down with the boss and his wife here had a great time the vibe was absolutely universal service was awesome food was delicious over all it is a really good place

First time going to S3, I ordered a Seasonal Pumpkin Latte with Almond milk. The Coffe was light and smooth, the pumpkin flavor wasnt overbearing, it was just right! I also liked the teal coffee cups and cute pumpkin spout cover.

Wow it’s so beautiful inside! The servers are very friendly! All the menu items are delicious and not too far from common drinks you may have had elsewhere so you won’t be confused! The food items are what sets this place apart from a regular Starbucks and of course if you dine or drink inside then they’ll have you use their cute mugs and plates:) Yes, there’s a restroom inside! But plan ahead and charge your laptop beforehand because there aren’t many outlets available! This place closes early but I wish they were open 24 hours! Mannn they’d make bank! Hehehhehe anyway, whether you’re here to catch up with a friend/friends, have a study group or just a study sesh, this place is super cute and you’ll be productive because the seats make you adjust your butt every so often!

The food is good and coffee is nice and fancy. It lost twos stars because they serve for here food orders in to-go containers. Way too much plastic waste. Glad they have glasses and mugs, but they really need to get plates and silverware

I came on a weekday where Google marks at not usually busy. But if you want a spot to sit inside you can forget it. I came earlier in the week and it was busy so I left and decided to come on a Thursday morning. I was lucky enough to find a spot to sit but I wanted a good photo spot so I tried waiting for someone to leave but not a single person left. I waited for over an hr. I was only there for 2 hrs.

But I have to say the rainbow latte art coffee is sooooo darn cute! It's definitely Instagram worthy. And it tasted pretty good too. I love the sugar sprinkles on them. There's a cute lol phonebooth thing to take pictures. Their other drinks also looked cute and adorable. I would love to come back to try them.

A couple of vegan food options, the iced americano is good, and plenty of seating both inside and out. A constant flow of people but never too crazy busy (at least when I’ve been here). Water refill station is nice!
