SA Recycling reviews
4They are nice, and I believe they pay at the correct rate as stated for the State of CA. I think there may be a limit of 100 lbs, but don't quote me.
I was incredibly pleased with the service of this facility. I had a difficult load of stuff to unload and was concerned about what kind of value i'd get out of it. The manager was incredibly professional and went out of his way to personally see everything was unloaded safely and I received all the money I could out of my materials. I would go back again for sure!
Worst customer service ever! If I could give negative value I would. Had all my shreddable steel completely sorted, oven surrounds, microwave housings, all types of light iron, literally maybe 1% of weight wasn't ferrous material, and that's being generous. They told me, get this, I would have to pay THEM to take it! HAHAHAHA. You have got to be kidding right? I mean, I know the price of steel is in the toilet right now, but I've got at least 1500 lbs of clean light iron here, and I do mean CLEAN, and your telling me I'm gonna have to pay YOU to take it. Kiss off. This facility can kick rocks, I will never be coming back here again, and would recommend anyone else scrapping in the area avoid this place like the plague. Total ripoff artists. I guess I can't expect much more in a POS state such a California.
They have finally started accepting CRV again. But be prepared to be put on a waiting list and then wait in line. If you leave and are not on the facilities when they call, YOU WILL GET PASSED UP.
