Saap Ver is my favorite Thai restaurant on the West Coast. What to order: shrimp paste fried rice, pork belly with green beans, and the whole fried tilapia.

I’m sure everything else on the menu is great, so be adventurous and try some new dishes out. Highly recommend.

I had pad thai for pick up and it was the worst pad thai I have ever had. No flavor just a lot of noodle. I could have made the same thing in 2 mins.

Pretty good! Some nights are way too loud, but it almost has a club-y vibe after a certain time

Ordered 3 dishes last night, 1 of them a hotpot chicken soup dish, which cost $18 before taxes and had literally 6 tiny pieces of chicken in it and came with no rice. Flavor is pretty authentic but don’t expect anything of substance in your meal.

Firstly, I like Thai cuisine.
But here, none of the dishes tasted good. Starting with Thai iced tea (How can this taste bad? ! Yes but here, it did) until the dessert, nothing tasted good. Overall service was good, but since the food wasn't satisfactory at all, will not be returning.

Two thumbs up from my Thai wife! The papaya salad was a big hit. I recommend the fried chicken wings.

One of the best Thai places I've been to in SF! All the dishes hit really well and had a nice spicy kick even though we ordered the mild. We got the green curry, the crispy basil pork belly, crispy rice sausage salad, and squid with egg yolk. All of them hella slapped. I've also never seen some of these dishes at other Thai places before so I was excited to try them. My girlfriend also recommends the crispy chicken fried rice. The vibe is super casual. We went on a Saturday night and they had disco globe lights like it was a club lol. Fast service! DEF GOOOO!

Tom Yum soup was good and a tad on the sweet side. The Pad Thai we ordered was pretty standard as was the green curry. The curry had the standard curry vegetables like bell peppers and bamboo shoot. I liked the kind of hip~ atmosphere in the restaurant as well and would come again.

Nice food but had to leave because they play club music really loud. Would be nice if there were some tables where the music wasn’t so loud.

I do not normally leave reviews. I've dined here sooooo many times, the food is excellent and very delicious. No question. BUT PLEASE- WHOEVER THE OWNERS ARE, DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR SERVICE STAFF, THEY ARE SO RUDE!

They always ruin the experience, and literally give you dirty looks, should you need an extra napkin, more water, a new fork because the one you have fell on the floor, need hot sauce, or an extra drink, or if you want them to place the vegetarian dishes on your side rather than your friend's side 5 chairs away who eats meat. Most of the people that work there, are always super cheerful and happy with each other but to customers, they can barely show a smile. Which is so weird, because you are in the service industry? !

ALSO- it would be nice if SPICE levels are explained to new customers, given that medium is technically EXTRA SPICY.

The tomyum here is highly recommended by a friend and I second it. Love that signature sourness, the Thai prawns are huge and the soup is so shrimpy!

Pad kee mow is a bit too sweet for me like most places and portions were just okay, not too generous.

Duck curry was tasty, they use lychee in their curry!

I ordered mild spicy for everything because even though I like some spiciness, I know Thai spicy is no joke and I'm glad I did.

Be prepared to pay. Literally. I ordered through doordash and it was $26 for the Tomyum (YEAH, I know). I got the duck curry on their special price for $25. Pad kee mow was $16. Since that time, the Tomyum has climbed to $28 and duck curry $30. Personally, just can't justify these prices so I ordered something else.

Excellent Thai food with a great ambience. The taste was authentic and the spice level was adequate. Would love to come back again.

Very lively and bright interior and a nice energetic vibe. We’ve tried some dishes and found that the taste is overall decent but not amazing - I would also say everything is priced slightly on the higher side.

All time favorite Thai restaurant in the Bay Area. Duck salad is a must. And I love the fact they have a whole fish served.

Very authentic Thai food. Make sure you ask the servers from what region of Thailand you want the food taste like, and most of the time (if they know how) they will do it. I would say if you into papaya salad, that's the spot.

I've been coming to Snap Ver since they opened but it is continuing to decline since a very good opening few years. I won't post a review based on 1 visit as everyone can have a bad day. My 1 star rating is after 3 visits in the past 6 weeks. Each time the rice arrived at the table cold and had to be returned to the kitchen. The chicken laab was flavorless and adorned with only a few mint leaves. The biggest offender was the chicken satay- 3 pieces of chicken, 1" wide for $12.95 and DRY!
Overpriced and inedible. Management needs to get these problems fixed soon and restore what once was a very good restaurant.
