Ill skip to the part that everyone cares about: the results. I received six offers in the first month after graduating. I am currently working remote and my life is so much better. I have no degree and I was a construction worker before this with no tech experience.

Pros:
- Great hands on experience
- Mentorship program is very affective
- Working with a real startup and having real Agile experience
- Great network of alumni
- Very high post grad employment rates

Cons
- Quality of instructors vary, some are great and some are not so great and come off as burnt out or fed up
- "My way or the highway" approach

Things to note
- I really like prerecorded lectures and practice problems. If you are not good at learning like this then you should practice. I think they were very relevant to the work environment
- Keep your head down and code. Mind your business and treat this school like its your job
- This is not easy. It is extremely fast paced so you need to dedicate lots of time to this course. If you put your head down and focus on code for these 17 weeks, your life will change

Over all, Sabio worked out extremely well for me. I paid them using VA benefits to get me job ready in 17 weeks and that's what they did. Who can complain about that? I have also seen dozens of alumni get hired from the network of thousands of alumni. Definitely do your research, read all reviews and talk to the staff, but I certainly recommend this course.

I came to Sabio with no knowledge of coding and software engineering and that changed very quickly. The program is VERY intense, but it is all worth it in the end. After 17 weeks in the program I had 3 job offers ranging from $110,000 to $145,000. All of the staff care about the students and go above and beyond to make sure that you will have the skills to land that job as a Software Engineer. I would recommend nothing less than Sabio to get you on the fast track to your career in tech.

During the pandemic, I needed to change careers to something that was fully remote. I had previous hardware tech experience, but no formal training in software programming.

A friend suggested a coding boot-camp and I shopped around for one. I chose Sabio as they are among the highest rated by their graduates, and I fully understand why. The support from the staff and instructors was amazing. They had no other goal than for me to succeed.

The training was tough - very tough. It was 9: 00 am to 9: 00 pm Mon - Fri, with six more hours on Saturday. It was exhausting, but worth it. After 17 weeks, I was skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, SQL, and C#. My "Full Stack" is SQL-dotNet-React.

The training also included extensive "Professional Development" and interview preparation.

If you are thinking of changing your career to tech like I did, Sabio is the school for you.

Sabio
Con
Introduction
They don't talk about special services for people with learning disabilities, for example extra time.
Instructions
Are not always clear nor spelled correctly. (I completely understand the process in them wanting you to figure things out on your own but when things aren't clear and you spend more time on external learning videos, such as you tube, for more concise clarity.
Bugs in excersis
There was a bug that I couldn't clear that I knew for a fact I had correct, but still didn't clear. The instructions vs the bug
If you're looking for a lectures, the instructors, this is definitely not the course for you, you'll be watching videos all day long and the person you're going to be watching is Gregorio and he goes off on tangents and doesn't explain things clearly so it's hard to follow. Which forces you to spend more time to get things completed.
Pro
Que is really good, as long as you get a good instructor who picks up. I have had one who was just horrible, who didn't listen to my question and hung up on me twice. Very rude. But besides that the others were pretty awesome in explaining things.

I did not graduate. I use an algorithm key for my walk of time and got dismissed from the program, and signed up for another program couple days later. Couldn't be more happier. The school I'm in now is perfect for me. It's lecture based full-time and it's amazing you actually have somebody there teaching you. Plus the class size is 22 people with two instructors from 8: 30 to 2: 30 full stack academy, if you guys are ever wondering. Sabio's on some other level. I wouldn't recommend Sabio just for the fact of the errors I came across during the assessments, exercises, and the videos with Gregorio going off on tangents. There are some really good staff there that are knowledge there that kind of make up for the lack of instruction.

Sabio changed my life!

I decided to quit my 11 year career to pursuit software development without having any experience in the field and the instructors are really helpful and the curriculum is perfect for all levels.the owners are really involved with the students and make sure that the provide you with the right tools to land your first tech job after graduation!

Voted best coding bootcamp on Course Report for a reason! Things that set this program apart from others- the community and networking, job prep and working experience with a real product, and commitment to helping grads land their first job! This program CHANGED MY LIFE and I'd recommend it to anyone with the ability to work hard and persist through challenges- that's it. No other experience needed. Extremely veteran friendly!

I can't say enough about how thankful I am for Sabio, their career counselors, instructors, and the knowledge they provided in jump-starting my career in tech. I was skeptical at first, but they will put as much into your future as you do. It is hard work, but as long as you show up and give it your all, anything is possible. I have a brand new career to show for it and so do many others I know.

Started learning here back in October, and while it's been difficult I have learned software engineering. ReactJs, C#. NET, HTML, CSS, SQL. Not only has Sabio taught me how to program in these languages, they've given me a foundation in which to build upon. If you're looking to learn programming and have been debating on attending a bootcamp, Sabio will not steer you wrong. They also have an awesome career services team that helped me tailor my resume and get me back on the market and as a career changer, that's pretty awesome.

It's no joke, you will be challenged, you will be held to a high standard, and you will have strict guidelines placed upon you, but at the end you will learn to code.

I enrolled in Sabio's coding bootcamp program with the hope of gaining new skills and career prospects, but my experience with the program was extremely negative. Sabio used deceptive recruiting tactics, making promises about the quality of the program and support that would be provided, but these promises were not kept. When I brought my concerns to the attention of the CEO, Director of Academic Affairs, and co-founder, they did not address my issues and instead began to use retaliation and ostracizing methods against me.

As a result of the stress and lack of support from Sabio, I was unable to focus on the training and had to drop out of the program. This has had a ripple effect on my life, as I moved to California to attend the program.

I do not recommend Sabio's program to anyone and believe that they are not a reputable or trustworthy organization. I am accusing them of violating the principles of excellence.

In addition to the issues I have already mentioned, I also have concerns about Sabio's lack of accommodations for students with disabilities. When I requested accommodations for my disability, Sabio did not have a program in place to provide them. Instead, they began creating requirements on the spot and were selective in which requirements they would support. This lack of support and understanding caused me a great deal of stress and made it even more difficult for me to succeed in the program.

I strongly urge the VA to take my complaints about Sabio seriously and to consider revoking their eligibility for VET TEC benefits. The organization's deceptive recruiting tactics, lack of support, and lack of accommodations for students with disabilities have caused me and, I believe, many others a great deal of harm.

I’m not recommending this school. They do not care students, less experienced teachers, majority teachers from previous cohorts. Please don’t waste you time here

Responding to the Owner Liliana Aide Monge.

Thank you for your quick response. Assuming I want to take this class just for my personal knowledge is completely false. When I spoke to Mr. Ali, I made it clear I was in the near future, giving up my current career and wanted to attend Sabio full time for a career change. My current career in the span of 10 years had me traveling the world so giving up all that just for personal knowledge just wouldn’t make any sense.

I do understand Sabio is committed in helping recent graduates find jobs. But isn’t it just as important for the recent grad to do their due diligence in searching for work on their own? Maybe I have a friend with a tech company overseas and all that is asked of me is to gain the knowledge and I’d be hirable.

What would it matter if Sabio or the recent grad found the job first? All that would matter is the gained knowledge from Sabio and the employment.

Telling a person they can’t attend just because of their location is beyond me. If this is all online what should it matter? I have the same access to internet and information as anyone stateside.

I requested a call from admissions and it didn’t go as I thought it would. There’s a time difference between my current location and Sabio, obviously I new this before. I was told that Sabio requires all future students to be stateside. For a school calming to be veteran friendly, it seems as admissions isn’t privy to know a lot of vets take live online classes all over the world. I was also told it’s an intensive 12 hours a day class, again something I was already aware of. This was said, I feel in favor of admissions telling me the requirements are for students to be stateside and somehow it’s more convenient. If it’s online why should it matter where the student is live-streaming from? If I have the internet access and the willingness to adapt to the time zone, why should Sabio tell me whether or not I can attend? I’ll be sure to let my fellow veterans know this unsettling news.

Going to Sabio was the best decision I could make for my career. Not only do they teach you industry level skills, they help you prepare for interviews. When I went to my first interview, I was floored by how similar it felt to the mock interview they gave me. Attending Sabio can get frustrating because of the time and effort they demand from you, but they know exactly what it takes to get you a job in tech. If you're debating between Sabio and other bootcamps, choose Sabio! They're here for you every step of the way.

I was part of C60 sabio, when signing up with Sabio there were statistics of how great their program was and how they helped a substantial amount of graduates find jobs once the cohort was completed.

Unfortunately for my cohort and myself this wasn’t the case. Out of the 12 members of cohort 60 less than half of us are in a full time coding position.

Our instructor for the cohort was seemingly pushed out near the end of our time which left us with hardly any help for job prospects and assistance. Since our instructor who had worked with us on a daily basis was gone, there was nobody left who could truly speak for us with potential employers.

I have since found employment in a field unrelated to coding but sadly am still left with $20,000 of student loan debt that was used to fund a course that ended up offering no value to me in my career.

Recently, Sabio sent a survey to track where recent cohort grad were in their professional lives so they could use people working full time in marketing. I requested to not be part of their marketing as their course did not help me and have since been removed from their slack channel that was promised to stay open for alumni as an extra resource.

They now have a program in place that requires no money upfront but instead they will take a portion of your salary once fully employed. Lucky for those new students who want to take the risk but for me and many of my cohort members, Sabio left us in debt with no help to actually find a coding career.

EDIT: Responding to the owner. I never once went to an interview without a clean shave and a suit, I was business major in college trust me I know how to dress for an interview. Actually I even wore full suits for the practice interviews we had in class.
As for the former alumni, I saw the email I sent to him while cleaning my inbox and he didn't even give me the time of day. He said he didn't believe I had enough of a finance/accounting background but when I asked him to let me show my knowledge I was given no further responses. Funny that I am about to sit for my comprehensive CPA exam but your amazing alumni connection gave no help or even took the time to get to know me and my skills.

Overall a decent course but being $20,000 in debt over something that has proved worthless since I wouldn't let them use me for marketing purposes is rough.

I was skeptical at first, seems like bootcamps are all the rage these days and it's difficult to tell what's real and what's a scam.but Sabio is the real deal. I went from near-zero coding experience to being hired as a developer in less than 5 months, less than 2 weeks after finishing the program. Stellar training and even better job-seeking support. I'd recommend it to anyone.
