Sabor A Mexico reviews
16 If you like fatty chicken and diarrhea for a beans you’re in luck! Beans were very runny, chicken full of fat. Veggies in the fajitas were hard as a rock. I will NEVER eat there again.
Very disappointed. $75.00 wasted
Great selection of traditional Mexican dishes. The place is cozy inside but will hold a few tables for you if you have a larger group. I did not care for the mango margarita which came with Tajine spice in the drink as well as the rim, which I didn’t ask for. Plus $10.50 is overpriced for the small highball sized glass it was served in.
Food was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the Chili Rellenos plate and a Combo plate with a Pork Tamale and Al Pastor Enchiladas and everything was full of flavor and well-balanced. Their Mexican rice was probably the best I have had in a long time with the perfect blend of spices.
Servers were quick, attentive, and knowledgeable about their food and options.
We will 100% be back again soon!
Family owned restaurant, always very friendly, very appreciate workers. The food is pretty good and worth it. Hard to find these days.
Best birria tacos I have ever had. So juicy and the tortillas were perfect. The margaritas were tasty too. Also, the service was great.
Went there yesterday for my future mother in laws birthday. I had the 2 enchilada combo and it was perfect. The blackberry margarita and raspberry drop were tasty. Overall all 6 of us enjoyed the amazing service and food. Highly recommend over Chevys any day of the week!
My wife and I were passing through town and stopped here for Mexican food. Appears to be a family run establishment. The restaurant was very clean and everyone was wearing masks. I had chili Colorado which was very good and my wife had veggie fajitas which were also very good. Everyone was very good-natured and kind. Would definitely recommend.
Impressive! The best rated Mexican food in Elk Grove for a reason. I've had Mexican food all over the state and this holds up
It starts with rice and beans for me and it was a disappointment. The beans had a strange taste and the rice was just ok. We were hoping for main entrees to be better……it wasn’t. Everyone was nice but food was not my cup of tea. In my opinion, this was not authentic Mexican food but it appears the locals love the food here based on reviews.
The Food was Alright. Not what I expected, As a mexican I expected more from this place. The Chips and salsa sucks their chips We're hard as a rock And there's salsa was so weak taste like tomatoes And only tomatoes. So where is the mexican flavors? Too expensive.
Their chille relleno is amazing! That's the only thing I've tried so far but it was great!
Three of us for lunch. I was very pleased except our plates came at different times rather that together.
I really loved the red sauce for the enchiladas.
Took grandpa here for his birthday and everything was amazing! Food was delicious, and fresh. Sincerely sabor a Mexico! Service was friendly, kind, efficient, and very prompt! Atmosphere was enjoyable, not too loud so conversations were enjoyed! Good flow of guests and well managed. First time coming and will make this a regular destination! Thank y’all for the amazing experience! Wish we would’ve taken pix but everything was soooo good we didn’t think twice about enjoying things in the moment!
Food is ok. Service is good. Food and drinks are quite overpriced. My small glass of margarita was $10. Taste wasn't so good. They even charge for a couple of grilled jalapeños if you ask for any which they won't tell you upfront but you'll see it on the bill. I would not recommend this place.
The food is decent, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The drinks are EXTREMELY overpriced. I was charged $19 during happy hour for a regular SMALL Don Julio Blanco margarita, it was bland, and it was wrong (no TAJIN rim). I was never told about the ENORMOUS upcharge for the tequila by the server. NEVER buy a mix drink.
