This was our first time at the comedy show and checking in was just as easy as purchasing the tickets online. The gal at the door was very upbeat and personable. We sat in the middle and I really did not want to be called on and luckily others were. I will definitely take my friends here when they come to visit.

The only thing I was thrown off by was the bathroom for men and women in one I believe. You wash your hands separately if I remember that correctly. I don't feel comfortable using the bathroom so I had my husband wait right outside just in case and I saw a man walking in. I have been to places that have bathrooms like this, but it's not for me. Luckily they had another single bathroom available which everyone else lined up for. The majority looks like they prefer if bathrooms were for men and for women separately.

This is the best place in Sacramento, hands down. Not only is the comedy amazing, but the community is stellar! From the moment you walk in the door, you are treated like royalty. It's a great deal for tickets, often there are bundles for multiple shows in a night, and there are awesome beverages and snacks at the bar. You'll be treated to a feast of improv, stand-up, sketch, and more - be sure you are respectful to the performers and everyone wins!

I had a great time performing at open mic night. I highly recommend taking classes at the Comedy Spot training center. The instructors are a big help and I made some new friends too!

Had a great time and I was so glad there wasn’t a drink minimum! It’s really fun to see local comedians! On the night we went it was improv night. The three different groups were surprisingly good! They had a nice beer selection! They also offer classes!

Mind blown! Anti-cooperation league, these guys are masters at their craft! 5 bucks! I'd pay alot more for that kind of good time! Can't wait to return!
Just wow

Saturday night improv was SUPER FUNNY! Can't wait to come back. Even the first part of the show where they just chatted with the crowd to get skit ideas was a great time. Not family friendly of course, but not too raunchy either. Highly recommended!

ACL is the best improv show in the United States right now. Been a regular since they reopened after the pandemic closure, and they have been making magic on stage. If you’re looking for something to do on a Saturday night, this will not disappoint. You will be treated to a unique show and will laugh until your face hurts… and you will feel like you had a full ab workout the next morning. This is what we all need right now.

A warm, welcoming community of adults who play like kids. A great place to grow as a person. I recommend taking an improv class. And definitely see a show. Or several. I can't rave about this place enough. I absolutely love the Sacramento Comedy Spot!

Great spot for a fun, cheap laugh. Everyone is super friendly and into comedy - if you like the shows get the training and try being in one!

This place was great! Im eager to go back. Most of the stuff was really funny and I enjoyed the venue. It's also super cheap so if you don't enjoy part of the show it's no big deal and still 100% worth it.
