Sacramento Habitat For Humanity reviews
10The best to place for odds and ends for the house. Just bought a farm house sliding door for 50% off of retail. Warning you have to know the price of the things your looking for kinda of a treasure hunt.
Not AS good as the Nevada County Restore, but I always find something I didn't know I needed. Hah!
Sacramento Habitat for Humanity is a God send. I am a recipient of the love that not only donors and volunteers gave when they donated not only their money but their time to help in the building of my family and I beautiful home. All the staff and board members were amazing I felt nothing but love from all involved. Our house was built on April 13th 2013. Everyday my heart is filled with gratitude and I am truly grateful. Sacramento habitat for Humanity is an amazing organization. There were two special husband and wife anonymous donors that I want to let know your donation is appreciated every day. I praise God for you all involved grateful and One Love.
The ReStore is a bit quirky, but a good place to look if you're starting a diy home project.
The way it works is that people and contractors donate over-purchased or upcycled materials which are then for sale in the store. For example, you might find a new low-flow toilet for around $50.
The quirky part is because of the way it works, you never know what you'll find there. Flooring, bathroom sinks/toilets, and lighting are all usually in stock.
My 1st visit to Habitat for Humanity ReStore! It's a large warehouse full of merch! Furniture, light fixtures, flooring, paint, hardware, windows, doors, sinks, toilets. They sell what is donated, so it's here today, gone tomorrow! Today, I scored a Vortex personal heater for $25! The staff is So Nice! I'm definitely coming back!
I heard this place was huge so when I went there I was surprised at how little they had. I'm not sure if it was just the day I went or not, but I was a bit disappointed.
Habitat for Humanity is a noble and well run organization. Their "Re-Store" facility is a retail store for items that were donated, so the selection varies greatly over time. Prices are very low to move quickly.
They were open bright and early as my wife was looking for a few things. After shopping for 15 minutes, we went to check out and was greater by the kindest lady. She answered all the questions we had and gave us a coupon for the next visit.
This store location was nicely organized!
Yesterday, we were searching for folding chairs and light fixtures. TODAY, we drove the truck to purchase patio tables!
Staff is so friendly and helpful: "Issa" always had a smile while assisting us load 4 huge patio tables into our truck and he answered our quickly questions, the cashier "Milan" was also friendly and had us join the email Interest list Greg, the store manager was quite busy- he should be very proud of his crew! Love this non -profit organization! We have donated items here, but, have never done shopping
Kindly patronize this store and donate here! Thanks a Million Habitat for Humanity- you are awesome
I didn't know you were supposed to run in there and grab everything and then separate it Afterwards. Didn't really like the way the whole thing was set up
