Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency reviews
16Why don't you ever answer the phone. You leave the number to call back but you never answer
Very unprofessional and they just had my 70 aunty come down to the office for nothing! Her worker wouldn’t see her so we drove down town in the rain and cold for nothing and her workers name is mirisa Gomez and I’ve been told my aunt isn’t the only one they’ve turnt down for being a little late like come on now these are old people that obviously need help? Do better mirisa Gomez
I would give it zero if I could ppl are living in deplorable conditions and you guys don't care our apts is falling down we all have children here and we need help but you guys refuse to even answer the phone what is it going to take a innocent person to perish before you guys help?
The "people" "working" here are all certified, Grade - A, waste of oxygen!
Every time i call, i wait endlessly, FOR NO RESPONSE! You people are worthless! Absolutely worthless! Who ever is running this? Please do us all a favor and go walk into the ocean.
I have had a section 8 voucher since 2006 but SHRA has never heard of me. WHAT is going on?
Horrible place to be they are never on time make you wait for hours there's no parking
As a property manager I have had nothing but bad experiences with this organization. The way it operates is a complete joke. Multiple times I've waited on hold for several hours (that is not hyperbole) to speak to someone and given up. Paperwork took months to process - for someone who is already on their program. The inspection process is disjointed and difficult. I will not work with them ever again and warn other property managers and landlords to avoid working with them at all costs. I can't believe they think it is acceptable to operate at this level of inefficiency. Knowing how inefficient they are, I expect they will never see this review.
I have a voucher with shra and I’m a victim of domestic violence and have a court ordered CPO with the suspect but shra doesn’t want to take me and my son and move us to our own voucher they just want me to be beat on in order to have a place to live. There is no help for domestic violence survivors!
Update: I've been waiting over seven months for a rent increase to be approved. I've spent five hours waiting in line to make three phone calls and each time I've been told they are behind in processing rent increases and I have to wait my turn. No wonder they don't have enough rental properties for families that need them.
Update: still waiting for rent increase to be processed after 19 weeks. Made three phone calls (with a total of 5 hours waiting in line) and submitted four tickets on their landlord portal. SHRA confirmed the rent increase notification was received on May 25th, it's now October 7th and I'm still waiting for it to be processed.
Original post: It's no wonder no-one want to rent their property through SHRA. I sent in notification of a rent increase ten weeks ago. SHRA has not responded or processed the increase and now I've been waiting an hour on the phone and no-one is answering.
I have been trying to get through on the phone for a rent increase and stayed on hold for 2 hours yesterday and no one answered.
If you guys are going to close down completely for lunch then maybe you should put it in your business hours. Then having people take busses down here and waste there time only to be told they have to wait an hour for you to open up. How unprofessional.
Poor customer service.hard to get someone to talk to over the phone. We are trying everyday no one picked up the phone. Alway wasted. Almost one year same problem no answer.
I have always had a good experience with my workers as well as the inspectors who came to my home. I have an issue with the residential portal log in.
Some people talk about third world countries. My suggestion is go to sac housing agency to see what is going on. The workers are not there to help anyone. They are there to collect their money. I have called several times waiting for hours for someone to answer I have not been able to get a hold of them. When you went to their office there is a girl she is literally on the phone talking. Sac housing is the worst place I have ever experienced in a government agency. If the government doesn’t want to help people with housing they should close their doors.
First no answer the phone. I tried 100 time but no one answered and proper reply. They are playing with people’s time. Plz don’t do that
My wife and I have had no response, still homeless with a small income over a year? Said to help homeless? The one's homeless by choice or by chance?
