5The physical store basically sells chochkis and a bunch of City of Sacramento kings inspired t shirts. More jersey selections on line + at better prices. So if that's what you're looking for don't come to the team store. It's also quite small feels like a not well planned target clothes corner from the 2000s
If you're a Kings fan, this is a must stop! There's a bunch of Kings gear here that you can't find online. They even had Kings ugly Christmas sweaters and some really cool retro throwback jerseys. They only had Reggie Theus and Mitch Richmond throwbacks at the time I went, but the lady working there said they have a shipment of Chris Webber coming in. So they get stuff you can't get elsewhere.
Conveniently located at the Golden 1 Center. Friendly staff. Check it out if you're in the area. Light the beam!
4: 15 Monday December 5th
I'm currently sitting outside the Sacramento Kings team store and I have a couple observations.
First. The idea that I can buy something online at Fanatics and then not be able to get help with that item IN STORE (a store that says, "a fanatics experience" on the front door) in 2022 is kinda crazy to me.
Second. The idea that I would come to the Kings store and buy any of the extremely high priced clothing while being greeted by a store with no atmosphere and a salesperson with the same amount of personality is crazy. Although I will say his personality was far more inviting to the lady that came in after me
You would think he would at least help me find similar items as the one I needed to exchange and suggest I buy it here so as to save time before Christmas and return the item online.
But I get the impression that he didn't want to be bothered. At least by me.
So be it.
I will continue to support the @Sacramentokings and hope for more success, as I've been a fan since the inaugural year. But it's doubtful that I'll ever shop the Kings store again.
First impressions still matter.
Store is well laid out and organized. Some workers were friendly, some were on the phone ordering their starbucks with friends.
My main complaint is that the men's section is an entire floor, while the women's is a rinky dink 3 racks. Even the kids section had more options.
