Sacramento Medical Oasis, Inc. reviews
7 Dr Ronald Risley offers exceptional medical care. His office is well maintained and the office provides a pleasant atmosphere.
However, due to government regulations, Dr Risley is limited in his ability to order blood labs and other specific medical needs, as doing so imposes a significant financial impact upon the client. For instance, don't expect Medi-Cal to bear the expense of blood labs, as Medi-Cal may not recognize his authority. In addition, it might benefit his practice to consider hiring a receptionist who offers a less authoritative and invasive approach.
Having said that, if you have the financial resources to pay for services rendered, it's worth looking into. Not withstanding the concerns I've mentioned, Dr Risley is an accomplished physician. I recommend him with very little reservation.
Dr. Risley is A+ and so is the lady who admins his office. Risley is well worth it, but I had to go elsewhere due to buget.
Sac Medical Oasis has potential. However, I have, personally, experienced an accumulation of office politics among it's staff. For example; there is a serious lack of communication between the physician and his receptionist. This can cause problems for the consumer, such as; medication refills, unforeseen scheduling issues, and any other serious matter that requires careful and prompt consideration.
According to reviews, most clients seem satisfied with their experience. I'm genuinely pleased to read that fellow consumers are satisfied. However, if you read reviews on "Yelp", there are a number of clients who's feedback is less than flattering.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this facility in good conscious.
Doctor Riesly is the best doctor ever and was there to help me through days of drug addiction. He is compassionate and is incredibly intelligent and well versed when it comes to medicine. Amy at the front desk is always great and always manages to figure out a way to get me seen, She was also there to help me find resources through my days of addiction. The last time i asked her for help she sent me to a facility for help and now i have over 3 years clean. Amy, Dr. Riesly if you ever read this just know you guys are the best anyone could ever ask for.
It's been only a 3 or 4 months, but so far, Dr. Risley has impressed me as a very intelligent & compassionate individual. I feel very lucky that I made the decision to come here.
Dr Risley has the best understanding of mental illness and addiction of any Dr. I've ever worked with or been a patient of. He's extremely compassionate and non-judgemental. He really listens and actually cares about his patients. The office is comfortable and serene. Most importantly, it’s never packed with loud, obnoxious, sick people who are impatiently waiting to be seen like most other medical offices. He doesn’t work with health insurance companies which helps keep his fees (and stress levels) low. That doesn’t mean your insurance company won’t reimburse you! Just ask his receptionist, Amy (who is also extremely kind and caring) to give you an itemized bill to submit to your insurance. She can also help direct you with any questions you may have about this process. I am very thankful to have them as part of my medical team.
