I was extremely skeptical when I first contacted Sacramento Tax Resolution. Mike and his team worked quickly and were able to get the IRS to release two large tax liens that had been looming over me for quite some time. I urge you to contact them!

I was very skeptical at first that this business could help me with my IRS back taxes. I owed $39,000 and was stressed out. I contacted Mike and his team and began the process. It was very simple and straightforward. Mike's team was very professional and attentive to my concerns. I had medical issues in 2017 - 2018 and did not file my taxes. In 2019 I went to see Mike from Sacramento Tax. It was 1500 up front just to take my case and I'm by 2021. I had spent over 4,500 to have him try to do an offering compromise for what I owed in back taxes.

In 2021 I lost my job and the first thing he wanted was his money up front to finish my case. He said they had an agreement and it was put on hold because of me losing my job. In 2022 they took 525 out of my account without telling me and it took 6 months for somebody to find their. Tell me that it was for the coming years payment to do my taxes. In late 2022 I was contacting them to seeing if they have changed the offering compromise since I'd lost 50% of my pay with a new job. I was not getting any response and I asked to see a copy of my file to see what they had done.

I emailed over a half a dozen times with no response or you're working on it and get back to you. I then called and three times I left messages asking that a copy of my final the email to me so I can see what action they did to do an offering compromise on my account. Still nothing to this day. I now am in the position where I have to contact the IRS and state franchise times for on my own because all the money I have. I gave the Sacramento tax to try to settle this and nothing settled. As a business you should provide me with a copy of my file so I can see what work he did but they refused to do so. I will be contacting the better business bureau and finding the complaint along with a complaint for the secretary of state's office.

Do not go see Sacramento tax. He's a liar and he'll just take your money up front and then not contact you.

**BEWARE** A contract for $11,400 was signed on Nov 2021 indebting us to this firm. We expected to have all our tax issues completed by May and yet here we are back at step one.

Two words GROSS NEGLIGENCE! A professional tax firm filing a tax form without including our income. Question: Why hire a tax firm to file a tax return if there’s no income? After identifying a major error, I immediately reviewed entries on every filing submitted by this firm and found even more discrepancies (and I am not a tax expert).
Between my husband and I we respectfully requested the errors to be corrected and resubmitted for our final review. Each revision contained even more mistakes or changes creating a vast disproportionate amount due, initially owing $0 increasing to $40K to ultimately $70K. We had provided them all the supporting docs needed for due diligence on their part. This process was still ongoing two months later.
I was told by the Tax Liaison our signature on the tax document is validating everything is correct. I had to become a tax expert and devoted days reading tax excepts/books/videos to review our paperwork. When the numbers were missing, did not add up correctly, or mysteriously appearing, I questioned it and received no explanation. This caused so much unnecessary stress in our lives.

Accurately filed tax paperwork is a MUST to avoid being targeted for audits. Additionally, whenever correspondence from the IRS or FTB was sent we would inform the company and ask for feedback but received none. Several requests were made for explanation on the plan they were using to address our issues, again nothing.
As a 100% disabled veteran and my spouse also being 90% disabled, we are unable to work and are surviving on a fixed monthly income and truly cannot afford to be misled or incur any additional costs caused by their mistakes.
On the last revision with the same errors repeated we respectfully asked again for corrections again, this was the response we received, taken directly from their email, “After our weekly meeting with our team, it is highly suggested that we submit the amended return as is. The goal is not to have older returns 100% perfect, but close to it “
They had the audacity to send multiple communications afterwards pressuring us to sign the return knowing we were not happy with their work.
We were absolutely flabbergasted by their statement. We asked for a refund so we could hire another company to redo all tax paperwork because we could no longer trust them.
The firm rejected our refund request and stated they fulfilled the contract requirements.
NO - they did not fulfil our contract because our taxes would be filed correctly, they would have negotiated potential abatement of penalties and present an “Offer in Compromise” with IRS/State on our behalf.
This whole ordeal has been an absolute nightmare, there was so much more that we could have listed but we did not. This firm truly lacks integrity, expertise, and professionalism. First I wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart, you guys really went above and beyond. "If we can't help, we will not take your case", that's what made me call and I'm glad I did. I HIGHLY suggest you find another company if you are finding yourself with IRS tax issues. I had a situation where my earnings were reported twice to the IRS. I attempted to solve the issue myself, but was unable to get through to the IRS. I hired this company at great expense, and not only were they rude and unresponsive, but they ended up costing me MORE money after telling me I was due a refund. These people are all smiles until they get your credit card. Then they completely ignore you. They screwed this up so badly when I went to another tax comany and gave them everything, they advised me to litigate. Stay FAR away from this company. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. T

/EDIT to reply. - Isn't it adorable they have been ignoring me for months, yet reply here? This is a CLASSIC example of theor tactics. They ended up costing me MORE money with the IRS. NOT less. This is of course after they assured, me VIA EMAIL (which is being presented to my attorney) that the IRS in fact owed ME. As stated before, stay FAR away from this company as they are scam artists. You know it's bad wiehn you finally get someone from the IRS on the phone and THEY even feel bad for you!

After moving to Sacramento during the Pandemic amongst so much uncertainty- I’ve found that I can trust that with Mike and his team- our family’s finances are in safe hands.

He’s a strong advocate for his clients, one example being when our state refund was severely delayed- he reached out to the IRS directly to resolve issues creating barriers for our return and resolved this within days. It’s clear he does go the extra mile for not only for us, but extends this gift to the rest of his clients.

This is a disrespectful man! I told him i could not afford his services so he MAILED ME a garbage can with my Final notice inside. His commercials say he will work with you but he will absolutely not! I reported this guy to the b b b, Go somewhere else!

They gave us guarantee to lower our tax the debit. "We wont take your case unless we save you money 25-80% reduction of your tax debt" as per Mike Ornelas in our one and only phone conversation. Don't fall for this they are frauds! They were paid 7k dollars for them to negotiate our taxes. In fact we owe more now when you factor in the money they charged us. The office is the most disorganized/unprofessional business we have ever came across, multiple request from Amelia for the same information over the last several months to no real solution. We had have multiple request for "Mike" to call us to no avail. I will be requesting KFBK and KSTE to remove their ads as they are dishonest people in my humble opinion. I would give zero stars if that was an option

This is the worse company I’ve ever done business with They won’t return calls or when have appointment they forget and reschedule with you. I’ve been trying to receive my hard company taxes that I sent in they will not return a call or send to me and by the way I paid $10,000 up front for services to be done on time and they still gave me a Extenion. I would give them a - star unfortunately you have to give them a 1star rating.

As the principal of a small business in California - I have gone through 2 EAs and 2 CPAs who have all filed my tax returns in-correctly with the IRS while also failing to file correct forms for the State of California. The result is $8,900 in penalties with the IRS and $5,000 with the State of California FTB. The FTB reviewed everything and confirmed that all CPAs and EAs whom I hired to file my taxes did NOT file correct. The FTB took mercy on me and now I got a consultation from Mike today and he was MAGNIFICENT in terms of his advisory. I strongly recommend him as I have experienced nothing but hubris and incompetency from so many CPAs and EAs. THANK YOU, MIKE - for your advice. I will pursue based on our consultation.
