Stephen and his crew have been so good for me. I have a rental which Stephen manages. He helped me prepare the house, did the marketing and screening, and of course, has handled all the management since finding someone. We have a somewhat unusual house, and he was entirely optimistic and positive that we would find the perfect renter, which we did. He advised against several good potential renters, encouraging me that just the right one would be found. With renters in place, he and his team have been entirely responsive to needs arising from both sides. I'm so thankful for having more than just a manager. He's more like a big brother in his heart for me, and the professional expertise. He's so worth the very reasonable fees too.

I've worked with Stephen Longard, founder of Saddleback Realty & Property Management, over many years. He sold my house in Menifee and helped me complete a 1031 exchange for new property in Corona. He is very effective as a Real Estate broker, and just as effective as a property manager. Saddleback manages both my Corona and Costa Mesa properties. He is always available and responsive via text message, email, and telephone. I've changed tenants several times during his tenure and in every case the change went smoothly. His company is particularly effective at finding and managing repairmen, plumbers, roofers, HVAC, and pest control firms. I was a renter at one of Stephen's properties. He was a very fair liaison between myself and the property owner. Stephen worked hard to make sure that requests from both parties were sensible and would push back against any unrealistic request. As a tenant, you don't necessarily pay a management company directly so it's very refreshing as a tenant to get a management company that will also look after your interests as well as a landlord's. Upon moving out of this property, Stephen went above and beyond to return my entire down payment as he thought that was the fairest outcome in my situation. I imagine the landlord felt differently as he was trying to do a lot of renovation at my departure. Previous to switching to saddleback realty, my landlord had a different management company. That management company was very greedy and implemented an extra fee going to the tenants to pay for odds and ends that wasn't really needed. Saddleback realty on the other hand doesn't have any hidden fees or surprises to either landlord or tenant. I highly recommend saddleback realty to both landlord or tenant. These folks are stand up people and have your back regardless of being a landlord or tenant.
