I couldn't get through to a live person through the listed phone number. Sending me through an endless loop of limited questions that the system couldn't handle. Then it ventually hangs up.

Everyone I dealt with at the shop was very nice but they were too busy. They did their best to get to me but I had multiple issues with my appointment and getting my windshield replaced on time.

It took me two trips due to the delivery of the wrong glass but it was handled professionally and on the time that I was told, the staff is very friendly

Originally we were told it could be 3 hrs till our car was done. Actually our car was done in 1hr and we thank you Charles for that! Car looks fabulous.

Great company and staff took my Grandfather to get his window fixed he's 90 so it can be hard to communicate with him but they treated him great and were very patient with him. Thank you for a great experience with your company.

Edit: even though all the below is true. They did refund the charge.

Rather than repairing the small chip and crack they made it worse and now I have to replace the entire windshield. I'm not saying it was done on purpose but it is a considerable expense that I shouldn't have to do.

Very, very frustrated.
As much as I can appreciate a free windshield replacement through insurance, it's incredibly frustrating when the service is poor. The technician forgot to put in the molding clips and I then quickly had them come back out to check it out. Well, since they supposedly ordered them from Sacramento, it has been over a month. I can't even get in contact with the local office.

I think that since they screwed up and aren't getting paid to fix their screw up, they have no incentive to do anything about it

I chose this company because I needed a windshield and CSAA recommended from their list of network. They were supposed to come to my house today 1/17/2022 from 1pm to 5pm. I took time off from my busy schedule to wait for them. 5pm.came and nothing, No Call, No Show. So I called and they DON'T EVEN HAVE THE WINDSHIELD IN STOCK OR EVEN BOTHERED TO CALL ME AND LET ME KNOW. Unacceptable! 0 STARS IN MY BOOK! Called and complained to CSAA as well. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Waited all day for them to show up. I'm going on a long trip tonight, so I was so excited that they said they would be here but never showed up. Very very upset

I had my Tesla model 3 windshield replaced by safelight. During my scheduled appointment I was told by the installer that they were unable to do my windshield. The technician decided to do the install and told me he had never done a Tesla and was very unsure of himself but stated its just a windshield and asked if I wanted to proceed. I assumed they knew what they were doing and agreed. Months later my car has catastrophic failure and shuts down. The vehicle was toed to Tesla. Tesla stated the damage was due to ingress from the windshield and that the windshield was not properly sealed due to installation. I contacted safelight and explained what happened and a scheduled visit was supposed to occur. The information was lost from my understanding. I called later and no longer are you able to reach a live person. I messaged and reported on multiple live chats about the situation. Safelights denied it was there fault but Tesla reported it was. The manager at the Modesto location (Corey Nichols) tried his best to protect Safelight and I could easily tell what this guy was up to. Long story short Progressive Insurance sided with Tesla and paid me out for the damages. Shame on the manager for a poor cover up and shame on Safelight for not taking responsibility. Please do not use this poorly run company.

Needed to actually talk to a live person to find out if they could repair the issue of my car window. Which was Not to replace glass. There was no option to talk to a customer service rep. My car window issue is still unresolved. Disappointing.

I called in November to have my windshield replaced. I originally scheduled my appt for Saturday December 4th. A few days before my appointment I received a text message stating my appt was on the 9th which was a weekday! I called to let them know I scheduled for a Saturday because I work weekdays. The guy on the phone told me that they moved the appt because the glass was arriving on the 8th. I moved my appt to the following Saturday the 11th! Well this morning the 11th my original appt they call me to cancel. 20 minutes prior to my appt time as I am here waiting already. I live 40 minutes away. They could have called yesterday, or the original arrival date to let me know not the day of 20 minutes prior to appt. Save yourself the errors with scheduling and go elsewhere.

They tell me one day shows it on my texts I wait for them all day taking my day off losing money then I look at the appointment schedule on their website says a different date. My text from them said Wednesday they will be there between 8 and 1 then I go to their website it's Thursday from 8 to 1
