Safelite AutoGlass reviews
14I'm very disappointed. I took my wife's brand new car to repair a tiny chip on her windshield, but now it is 2x more noticeable with 4 cracks spreading from the center. I was told I would get a refund but this work is unacceptable. Now I'm going to spend $1000 for a replacement.
A golf ball hit our window and Safelite came out and helped us.
They installed the window easily and professionally.
The price is reasonable as well.
Awesome experience at Pasadena Safelite location. Altough no work was performed on my car their honesty was reflected. Very nice vibe from the moment you walk in. Will definetely do business with them when needed. Thank you very much for your advise and honesty. You have a potential customer in me.
Their service was fast, I went over and they told me it would take 2 hours, but in fact they were done in 30 minutes, thank you very much.
Call me, I need to get my window done already & the parts should already be there, it's impossible to reach your number!
2 stars just for the customer service. They might do a good job, will not risk it finding out though. But they literally just hang up on you or close the online chat without letting you ask or explain. Literally they text a message and close the chat in 1 minute. If you are thinking or trying to understand or need a translation or if you need advice - don't waste your time here, they are too busy to talk to you. If you are not bringing the money right away - bye!
The staff were very accommodating and provided updates on my service. Very friendly folks. Definitely appreciate the work thy completed for me.
No one showed up for 1pm appointment and it is now 4: 15pm. No voicemails, no emails even though I received a confirmation email immediately after booking. Customer service agent claims someone tried to call me because “I live in a gated community”. I’m in Highland Park, not sure where the gated communities are here. My email and phone number were correct on the booking and I have received no correspondence from this shop. Spent 30+ minutes on the phone with customer service because they also can’t get in touch with the shop. When you try calling them directly, no one answers and it tells you to book online and hangs up. I’m not sure how they operate if they don’t even answer when their own customer service calls them, but good luck.
Was cheaper to pay out of pocket than thru my insurance! Receptionist and glass installer were friendly professional and well educated in their field!
I had my windshield replaced there about 2 years ago. I now need my quarter window repaired.
Great service. They helped me out a lot with my broken window and took great care of me right away. The technician I got was so attentive and professional. He took his time out to squeeze me in and get the job done. Definitely recommend
My technician Quidoles McDonald made this a very professional experience. Although I was waiting throughout the day due to being a walk-in appointment. Quidoles kept me up to date on the progress of my turn in the queue, when he would begin work, and upon completion went above and beyond to clean up some of my dirty windows as well for my wait. Talk about customer service!
The aftermarket windshield failed. Tried to have them fixed with no success. Last visit to "fix" it resulted in them charging me the price of a new windshield - who knows how they justified it? - even after I had told them that I specifically don't want to use their warranty program and I will just take the car to the dealer. Now I have to cancel card and file a fraud report in addition to the failed windshield. If you have to use them avoid aftermarket glass and pay with cash.
I went in for a windshield replacement, with an appointment. When I made the appointment they scheduled it a week out because they needed to pick up the windshield from a different warehouse at another LA location. They knew my car make and model, but the morning of my appointment, I show up just for them to tell me that they don’t actually have the right windshield (they picked up the wrong one), and I would need to reschedule for another week later. That’s 2 weeks with a large crack right on the driver’s side.
Then, when they do the replacement, the technician was careless and dripped some of the black sealant onto the driver’s side door. When I noticed I brought my car back in immediately, and I spent an hour waiting for the technician to try to fix it. He was able to get the black part off, but it’s quite obvious the paint is messed up and the outline of the drip is still there. A detailer inspected it and told me that the technician stripped the paint and it was starting to chip, and in order to fix it, he would have to repaint the whole door. He quoted me at $500. I asked another paint specialist who gave me an even hire quote.
When I spoke to the Safelite manager about the whole problem, he said all he could do was offer me a free car wash, which I would have to get reimbursed for. I have NO interest in returning and wasting more of my time just to get reimbursed for a mere $28 when it’s going to take $500 to fix their carelessness.
