Safety Training Seminars, Palo Alto CA

My experience attending the safety training seminar at the Hamilton Ave Palo Alto location on May 1st at 2PM was not up to my expectations. The training room was very small, and the temperature was uncomfortably hot. Additionally, the mannequin used for the training was in a defective condition. It was not detecting the movements or breaths, which made it extremely difficult for me to pass the required skill tests. I had to put extra pressure and squeeze the valve extra hard, causing pain in my wrist. Despite my efforts, the data was not being transferred to the computer, which ultimately led to my failure.

Furthermore, I noticed that the mannequin was not in good condition anymore. It had a rip on the right chest, which was not ideal for a training tool. Since there was no instructor present to check my performance, I had to call the 800 number for assistance. I was relieved to know that they could see in the camera that I was tilting the head properly. However, due to the mannequin's malfunctioning, I still could not pass the test.

After this frustrating experience, I was grateful to be given another appointment at the Fremont location. The environment there was much better, and the experience was excellent. I noticed that there were two stations with extra mannequin, in case of equipment failure or breakdowns. Everything was in good working condition, and I was able to pass the skill tests within 12-15 minutes. Overall, the safety training seminar at the Hamilton Ave Palo Alto location needs improvement, but the Fremont location provided an excellent experience.

Very quick and easy for BLS recertification. Easy to find and easy to use RQI mannequins. Videos provided give dummy proof directions to finding the building and room and tips on how to pass.

The online registration was quick and easy, with lots of availability. The location was easy to find and the directions provided me with everything I needed. I will definitely continue using this company for my future CPR renewal services.

I liked the interactiveness of both the online and in-person skills assessment. It was convenient, close to home and much more straightforward and easy to navigate than I thought it would be, all the video's and computer voice assistance were really helpful! I would definately recommend to others.

Quality online material that is self paced. Quick in person session with great resources for practical skills. Great refresher course.

Awesome facility! I took my BLS and ACLS skills here. The site is clean, organize and neat. The VAM really helps me improved my CPR it will guide you all through out the skills test. After I passed I got mg cards right away.highly recommended.

The online learning portion was a bit chaotic, but I found the skills assessment to be very helpful and easy to follow!

I wish I could have given more stars. This was my first time testing without another person physically in the room. The folks on staff were so great and answered all my questions. Thank yo!

I had a great experience completing my ACLS training certification through Safety Training Seminars. The online portion was structured well and can be completed at your own pace before the in-person session. They were very communicate and prompt with regards to appointment scheduling and instructions. My in-person session at the Palo Alto branch was smooth, simple and quick. I liked that it is a computer guided session and the completion time is contingent on each person's performance. Christine from the main office was exceptionally helpful with my questions over the phone prior to my in-person session. Highly recommend!

Great new technology to take hands on test. Nice feedback while doing techniques with automated coach.

A bad experience. I wished they were more clear with the information they provided. By reading what they had online and I decided to choose that class because it said what I was asking for. After calling customer service I didn’t get to right information I asked for. I asked for a refund because I didn’t even get to complete the class. After all, really wished they gave out the information and refund the money when the class wasn’t even completed.

Need a LIVE instructor. I've been going to this company for BLS. They closed the Redwood City location and now it appears they let go of their staff. You even HAVE to pay now $30 to reschedule. I will have to find one that a class somewhere else that has LIVE person.dont go to this company unless of course you want a machine to tell you what to do.

I had a great overall experience! It was very easy to take the course and the facility was very nice. Overall I would highly recommend to anyone taking the PALS course.

Comprehensive and well structured BLS training online with a short in-person manikin training. The start up instruction videos are so helpful and highly recommended to understand the structure as well as how to find the onsite testing spot. By using all of the videos and instructions they provide, your experience will be seamless and quick.

Highly recommend taking this course. The instructor was informative, engaging, and provided invaluable life-saving skills… clearly an expert in his field. The course was also well organized. Worth the Saturday afternoon.

The location is great and super clean. I have been renewing my CPR here for a few years. The training is excellent!
