Grocery Store Safeway reviews
13Empty shelves are a consistent thing, not sure if it's supply chain issues or because of the constant theft going on. Not my favorite place to shop but it gets the job done most of the time.
Bad. Just bad.
They are woefully under staffed. Think you’re going run a quick errand? Think again. Expect to spend at least 15 minutes waiting in a checkout line.
Produce section needs work bakery area needs work there is no fresh bakery area Deli area sucks takes forever to get service just a very small Safeway in general!
I will not be shopping at the 625 Monterey San Francisco eveer again. First problem was it took 8 min to get a shopping cart with no assistant from the workers in the store. Number 2 i ordered a sandwich at the deli with exact directions and the clerk wanted to dismiss my request by telling me that would be almost $9.00 however they had this other bread on sale walking me to bread on sale. I told her i was visiting my friend in the hospital and this is our favorite order when made properly. The sandwich was nasty i took it back. She made a sandwich that was even worse. What a waste of money. 3. I requested that they call a cab to no avail after 2 hours i had to make other arrangement terrible experience
No Lotto tickets
Regular Safeway products, which I personally frequently find sub-par. The building is way overdue for renovation. They published plans for renovation a few years back, but canceled them after Safeway was bought.
Love it, cheaper than Whole Foods and with great variety of products, I'll go back for sure.
Montreray St. Small but awesome. Wonderful staff! Their customers another story. Antivaxxers shop there.
Clerks were cheerful and friendly. The store is always clean, and products are neatly shelved.
It's a smaller Safeway, more akin to a Walgreens with actual greens, but I still manage to find what I need whenever I'm there.
It's a grocery store. They have what you need. They never have more than 2 cashiers no matter how crowded. Get ready to stand in line and wait.and wait some more. If you need to grab something in a hurry you came to the wrong place.
Horrible, The cashier "Dina" was so rude to my daughters for no reason. My daughter asked her if lane was open? But Dina ignored her and continued wiping her Register. I had to ask if she was open and then added your attitude needs a little work.she then began a covo with a Spanish customer. Very Rude service. My daughter's and i are African /California Indigenous people I don't know what we did to her if anything. But the svc and Her we sure will never go back. And it sucks that were California Indigenous people just trying to enjoy our land and go to the beach.
Friendly staff, well organized, and usually I'd say even with long lines they don't tend to take too much time. Overall I'd recommend this store.
So glad they are open late again! They have all the basics and are clean and ample parking
