Safeway, San Francisco CA

Their cashier who has the name DONOVAN is very rude all at the time! I visit this store regularly! He always throws the items in the bag. The egg was cracked. I told him but he kept repeating it over and over again. This happens many times!

Visiting from Ontario and very shocked at the mark up to stuff that costs like two dollars and fifty cents for me and 10 bucks for Americans. It's all very neatly organized but again I wouldn't be able to shop here more than like once a month.

Public restrooms close at 10pm. We don't live around there but went to the beach and couldn't find any bathroom. We have little kids. They said restrooms are closed. No gas stations around with it either. We were upset.

Fast lines I usually get in and out! Parking available but really cold in the area suggest u bring a coat if u don't live by there or know the weather climate already

Best option if your on the west side of town. Well stocked ok staff and no empty shelf’s. Heavy security presence

Your items are double the normal cost. $5 for 5 lbs of flour vs @2.5 at target. $5 for 1 qt half and half vs $3. Why? Corporate greed?

Convenient location close to the beach and park. Nice walk if coming from Golden Gate Park. Parking can be dicey depending on the time of day and It is mostly parking structure parking. Prices are reasonable.

I like Safeway stores in general but find this one to be a disappointment most of the time. Staff dont seem very friendly at least at night when I shop, the security guards are usually sitting around and it is a small store by Safeway standards. Inventory is very limited and sale items that are well priced are typically out of stock. Prices are also much higher then the inflation rate published by the government. I find that general staples and basic grocery items are 20% to 35%. Higher then a year ago

Hi Friday sale day we like the way the store is set up. The name tags on items is a little larger user to see. I like theft protection on sit. 4 butchers working hard there's always some one to find some thing. Or get the right cut of meat. Checkout was fun w/joking she made sure I had my ticket for new promotion Nice please share this w/staff

Safeway is not the place to shop for tourists. You pay 1 dollar extra for more items if you are not a member. Membership requires that you have a us phone number. So tourists should shop elsewhere. The store was nice and had a good selection.

Solid grocery store for the neighborhood. Good selection of alcohol, no tobacco products. Good variety of produce, packaged foods, and daily hygiene products

This Safeway is way out there but it's huge and it's kind of nice to shop and be around decent people for the most part

Bought a salad and a pack of cheese. The salad was partially frozen, 2 pieces of cheese had some mold. I want my money back

Get there early in the day.as the day progress the more busy the store becomes. The parking lot is large.

Great. This is the neighborhood grocery store we go to every time we visit this area. They had everything we needed. There is awesome security, but we never feel worried about our safety.and the staff are so polite and professional. Take your own bags or be prepared to pay 25 cents for the bags that are provided. Don’t get me wrong… they are worth it! We will reuse them for a very long time.
