Grocery Store Safeway reviews
26Beautiful old school architecture and excellent customer service. Stopped in while sightseeing to avoid commute traffic. Found everything on the list and friendly knowledgeable staff when we couldn't locate an item. Thank you
So the market and the people who work there (including security) are all great. However, I got my car broken into and my belonging stolen in broad daylight. The sec guard on duty that day said that another car was broken into the day before in THE SAME SPOT.so be careful here (and everywhere else in SF). There should be an extra guard patrolling the parking lot to ensure peoples cars don't get broken into. Otherwise, great place. Oh, and you can buy flowers here. If you like flowers
It is the closest supermarket... But still it's a 25 min walk both ways since Muni took out the 43 bus stop during Covid 19. This Safeway could be twice as big. The aisles are so tight and the entire store gives an uncomfortable feeling that you just want to get out fast. The girl in self check was very nice as was the overall feel of the staff.
One of the better quality safeway in San Francisco. At lease the restrooms are some what clean.
The restrooms were the dirtiest I have ever seen! Disguisting! Tried to tell a clerk and he didn't seem to care
The biggest one in SF besides Potrero! Feway minus the SA.it cracked me up when it took eons to replace the Sa in the neon signage.i liked it when it was the Feway. The employees are always pleasant and wanting to assist. Raises to all!
Great variety, service, and location. You can literally shop and look at the ocean view at the same time!
It is a big Safeway with variety of products to buy. It is also convenient because it is located inside the mall.
The supermarket it's fine, the problem it's the parking, a few time, they take your number plate
Always has a long line. Never enough CHECK stands OPEN but the upside.hella HOT girls there! LaBath
Much groceries are found here. A very clean and fresh place with large spaces for strollers. Lots of food options for everyone. Service is a bit slow at the counter and some strollers had their wheels jammed and not turning properly.
Great Safeway. Better than the Safeway I go to on Market near the Castro. Has a larger variety of goods. But I will continue to shop at the Safeway near the Castro. The sushi chiefs at the Castro are great, and will make exactly what you want.
Sehr guter Supermarkt mit toller Auswahl! Übersichtlich, gut strukturiert und alles da, was man so braucht!
The deli is supposed to be open until 9pm. I was there at 8: 50pm. There were 3 employees behind the deli counter and neither of them would slice ham for me. One lady said they close at 9. "I need to clean up" the other two said nothing. I didn't argue. I believe this to be poor service.
Always great customer service and the security guards are cordial and not too aggressive as I know they can be at other locations.thanks!
The $7 dinners are a tasty treat, ribs or chichen and 2 salads. Generous servings and friendly service from all the ladies there.
This was my favorite budget dinner while staying at the nearby Fort Mason Youth Hostel.
I'm handicap couldn't find a cart to save my life. Finally this lady came out n i ask could i have your cart she said yes.other wise i was about to just leave
I use to go there for logistic convenience but quality, selection and prices are not great at all.
I think you pay for Marina location, however much better to go to Trader's Joe or WholeFood if you can
Nice location and clean but always understaffed. Shelves often empty for certain items and lines usually run all the way down the aisles.
