Safeway Fuel Station, Novato CA

When Im in Marin I go here and use the Safeway fuel rewards that build up while I'm shopping. Once you get three rewards it's thirty cents off per gallon! It adds up quickly to earn a good deal. Plus they have a bathroom, snacks and drinks.

Good price sometimes, but not worth it anymore. I’ll come here for easy access from the 101, but these pumps are the WORST!

Cheap prices if you shop at Safeway. Clean and well lit. Good driving organization (all lanes one-way)

Great competitive price, but the "feeding frenzy" makes it hard to get even into the parking lot just for groceries.

With my discount i paid like $1.66.9 not bad I'd say use the points go early to avoid the backup it's worth going even without using the points

Conveniently located as part of the Safeway complex. You can of course use your Safeway Rewards to reduce the price per gallon (up to 20¢). You can pay by debit/credit card as well as touch less mobile pay. Has a quick mart too.

I just called this station to find out what the gas prices are if you are not a member, because they advertise $3.86 for gas on the internet, and Christina told me that she could not tell me gas prices over the phone, even though it is on the internet, that is a matter of national security, wow, someone might go to Mexico and tell them what the prices are, and we cant have that, she told me she would actually be fired for telling me the price of gas, what kind of company is that anyway? I dont think I will buy their fuel after all, I wouldnt be able to live with my self if Christina got fired from her job. Company policy? Or Christina just not wanting to give up the info?

Once you get in easy and cost effective.however can back up awkwardly into shopping center access.

Best prices in the county, even better than Arco. However, the wait times are almost always very long.

While the prices are definitely less than most gas stations, the wait is not worth the time one spends in line. There are times when there is not much of or no wait at all, however it's a crapshoot as to whether you get lucky when you show up there and that's the case. I have found it less aggravating and more efficient to fill up at other stations.
Also, from my experience, there is really no service there. It is self service and the only people there are punching buttons.

American Canyon Safeway gas stations are lowest gas in town I was actually down to 299 a gallon just this week that's why I fill up my tank

The gas prices here in comparison to the rest of the county are always the best. The only thing I can say is that there's usually a wait to get the gas. However you wait for the good quality and the good price. The workers there are also very helpful and often times they wait outside to tell you when a spot has opened up. Also it's right next to the Safeway store so it's great to do a one-two punch and get your grocery shopping and your gas in 1 go!

One of the cheapest places to get gas in Marin. Lines can sometimes be ridiculous (even with 4 rows of pumps) and I wonder if people actually know how to pump gas but if I can sneak in and fill up I do it. Otherwise the wait is not worth saving even 30 cents a gallon.

Cheapest gas by far. Always. Long wait times but definitely worth waiting for when you're getting significantly more bang for your buck.

Caucasian lady working the late afternoon shift was extremely rude. Just because of the color of my skin does that mean that she gets to be rude to me. Highly doubt I would ever come back here again

That place us always c th iwded.people there do not know how to move forward in line cars are sticking out in the main road almost and going into safeway. If I did not have to go there for my rewards gas I will not.also ppl are not aware of moving up once in the gas pump when a car leaves o I do it and others are are paying attention and get ahead of them m sorry.

Traffic for the gas station was out into the street blocking the thoroughfare. Cars couldn't exit the parking lot because of the inflow of traffic into the gas station. No attendants were guiding cars into open pumps. Try to avoid this place from 7am-8pm. Cheap gas makes everyone angry and aggressive.

Very long line due to the cheaper price and slow pumps supreme and premiums were out of order at some pumps

Everyone in the area who uses this frequently knows it's a circus during prime hours. Long lines that extend into the turning lane at the light and dangerous to navigate.
