Saigon Dish Vietnamese Restaurant reviews
28I used to buy their Banh Mi sandwiches when they were inside the Saigon market. This time the sandwich had very little meat and vegetables. They need to go back to how they made them before with more meat and vegetables.
GO TO THIS ONE! You WON'T forget it! The Best, #1, the Champs, the Realest! Com see them and get that Spicy Beef Noodle or the Dac Biet. Both are
From out of town. We had a great dining experience with the family. If you want pretty authentic vietnamese food, this is the place to try.
This was a signature dish with filet mignon for 13 bucks which was highly recommended by the server as possibly the best option you could get… I was a bit disappointed because I didn’t find this to be very original, be it in taste or presentation. The filet pieces were done with onions, and has an interesting sauce and seasoning. But again, nothing too special. Comes with white rice, and raw tomatoes and cucumbers (which I didn’t care for). Also came with a bowl with what looked like hot water but was a broth (subtle in taste) which I used to dampen the rice and/or eat with the meat. Service was top notch and I did get a good avocado shake which I decided to take home because it was giving me brain freeze. I read the phos or noodle soups are very special here because of their broth. Might come back to try that!
If you haven't been to Saigon Dish what are you waiting for? Go now!
John and his entire crew are amazing. The food is ALWAYS on point and the service is impeccably great and consistent.
Do yourself a favor and go eat at Saigon Dish. You'll thank me later.
The guy who took our order was very friendly and nice. Food was ready for pickup. I liked how the meat was raw when we unpacked our food. The soup was different sort of herbalish.which was still tasty.will definitely try again and location was convenient.
John is the man! Most humble and friendly person I've ever known/know. Food is always on point and hit the spot when I'm craving Vietnamese food.
This place has the best bun Cha I could find thus far. I also ordered their shrimp & pork spring rolls & really enjoyed the freshness, presentation & flavors.
I would recommend & wont have a problem making the drive for my bun Cha fix.
John is a real special guy. Don’t be surprised if he’s welcoming you by name on your second visit and asking how your family is doing. The food it top notch Vietnamese. Everything is simply done the right way with the best ingredients which is really what it’s all about when looking for Pho. Can’t recommend this place enough and I’ve had Pho all over SoCal.
Been coming here for about 15 yrs. It never disappoints! John is so friendly. Good customer service. Prices are great and food is delicious!
Ok but not spectacular. AC was not working so it made it uncomfortable to dine in. Food was ok. Portions were small for the appetizer platter. Food was not that great just meh. I've had better.
I've been coming hear for years. The food is awesome, very affordable, huge portions, and comes with great service. The owner is always there and takes really good care of his customers. This is my go to place on the west side for a Vietnamese fix.
Great pho, super friendly staff, very reasonable prices. Its usually pretty busy, but don't be discouraged by the line. The food is worth it and the wait isn't usually bad because the staff serves and turns over tables really quickly.
The phở tái with tenderloin (get this, it’s a nice cut) has a good broth but not brilliant. A little more depth in flavour rather than making it saltier and a bit sweeter than other places would have made it perfect. The regular Bún bò Huế was, however, the hero out of the two. Two wedges of lime were required to balance the slight sweetness of both broths. Overall, the Bún bò Huế was a lot nicer with the variety of herbs and meats.
Mediocre standard fare of Vietnamese Phoenix that is popular on Yelp.
The servings is hard to tell by proportions, just appears that the serving bowls are bigger instead of getting more.
Taste is just as expected, nothing bad nor anything to brag about. Good for a quick lunch, but that's about it.
Pretty busy at dinner time, even right before close.
You write your name on the notepad (and number in your party) to sign in and they call you when it's your turn.
Service is fast.
Regular size pho is a good portion.
Quick service from a happy staff. Even when they are busy you still feel like you are the only customer
I give it a 5 stars not because I like it dont take it the wrong way its just me I am not into vietnamese food but I can tell is famous my mom and my sister in the other hand loves this place
Was recommended here by a local and I wish I could thank him for sending my girlfriend and I here! We both ordered the vegetarian pho and love how they have so much veggies in this! Our local pho places either have no vegetarian pho options or with just bok choy, broccoli and tofu. A very good deal for the giant bowl we got as well. Small place and was packed for a Monday at 7: 50pm.
This restaurant is nice and clean I would give it 5 starts base on looks and ambiance. The pho was decent in taste, but I had more richer broth at an another place.
