Saigon Pho N Sandwich, Merced CA

Pho has no flavor and over fills broth where you can't even put in the noodles, order over the phone and still had to wait 10 minutes to bring out

Amazing Pho every time, best in Merced by far! I love the Chicken Pho and the Spring Rolls. I’ve never been let down. The owner is always so welcoming and such a sweet heart. One of the gems of Merced.

Went here twice. Both times weren't very good but especially the second visit. The first one was when the pandemic first hit, so I blamed it on the unorthodox way of serving to-go constantly but this last time- there wasn't an excuse for the ripoff. I bought double chicken and received a half of a chicken breast that was dry and tasteless! I was very appalled. I'll be going to Noah's next time I suppose.

Food is not the best. Thought since some reviews were good that maybe the bad ones were just sour grapes? Nope, food is flavorless but it was hot. Portion size is half that of other shops. Maybe its due to covid? We won't be back. Plus lady at restaurant was mean and it was like she didn't want to take our order we placed on phone. We should have known then! Pick up was worse.

I go here to get my taste of true Hong Kong style chow main with shrimp and veggies. Authentically delish.

I visited this restaurant as much as I could while I was in town. The owner is very lovely and willing to make anything vegan. She always complimented me and chatted with me when I would stop by to pick up my order.

Place is a dumpster fire with uneducated people working there. Lady who gives you food doesn't wear mask and shows no sign of proper food handling skills. Do not go here unless you want covid-19.

Got the LARGE combination bowl. I bet it would have been delicious if they didn’t skimp on the ingredients. When I opened everything at home i noticed there was one small meat ball cut in 4’s (for a large bowl). The rest of the items were the same. They added a lot of noddles though. I called to let them know and the lady lectured me on how customers love to complain and always want free things. I definitely did not ask and do not want anything free from this establishment. Bad portions and bad customer service but that’s just my experience! Good luck to y’all!

The price had gone up extremely. I used to go here a lot because of the customer service despite the long wait it took to get our food. Now it is too over priced for example I ordered a small pho and it was 12.95 and not to mention the 3 tiny pieces of meat. Not worth it anymore.

The pho and beef stew was fantastic! The broth was rich and full of flavors I didn't have to add anything to it.

It was ok; had the beef pho small and the noodles was undercook and not much beef in the stew but it worked. I wouldn't recommend this place though

This Restaurant did not fulfill my needs as there was horrible customer service, the food WAS NOT worth it as there was hair in my daughter's food, the accommodations were meager and it was TOO expensive for under average meals. If I could, I WOULD RATE THIS RESTAURANT 0 STARS.

It was good or whatever quite expensive not just that the lady or whatever I think she’s the owner I gave her a 100 dollar bill and she wasn’t sure how much to give us back like did u wanna give us change back or what ya know. And she took awhile and one time she didn’t know how much money to give back so she gave back a gigantic amount and the people run with it. I just gotta say if your gonna run a restaurant know how much change to give back. Also the food portions are so small and doesn’t even look like the ones in the pictures. Food was good just small but the rice was kinda of hard.

Ordered the pork banh mi sandwiche and was incredibly disappointed. Not only was it a very small sandwich for paying $8, but the quality of the ingredients seemed old. I would not recommend.

The food here is delicious, a quiet atmosphere, reasonable prices.

I know this has nothing to do with the restaurant itself, just thought I would share a bit about the woman who runs the place.
She is an animal lover, she nursed this abandoned dog for several days before I met them both.

I had space so i have him still.
So, even if you never been there, if your an animal person, please come show your respect.

First and last for me. Food took forever to get us and was charged 18% never again. No starts if I possible. Rude lady that took orders, felt unwelcome just don't go here in my opinion.

Been here before never had a problem took my 1 year old and my twins (4years) pluse my wife and they wanted to charge 18%more
