Saigon Seafood Harbor Restaurant reviews
18We had a preset ordered Chinese menu for two large tables to celebrate Xmas. Overall, the food was good. However, the ginger was green onion scallions lobster was tasteless and bland. The lobster dish, I didn't see any green onion or ginger. Not surprisingly, we didn't finish the lobster.
The food and selections were good and the waiters were quick to get your orders. Also the prices were either equivalent to or better than the other dim sum restaurants nearby.
Food was good but service could be better like many Chinese food restaurant. I liked the sweet and sour porkchops and snow pea leafs. The ginger sauce for the chicken is good also filled with ginger and onions.
I usually don’t give negative reviews to a restaurant. My recent visit was unpleasant one. The guy was very rude.
Had Diem sum and the carts with all the small plates of deliciousness were plentiful. Diem sum was excellent and prices reasonable!
We went for dim sum on a Sunday around 11: 30am. The restaurant was already pretty full so we were lucky to get a table almost immediately.
They still have rolling dim sum carts that come to your table. Everything was piping hot which was a plus. We ordered shiu mai, XLB, chicken feet, steamed spareribs, meatloaf wrapped in bamboo skin, taro turnover, pan fried pork & veggie bun. Everything was fairly good except the XLB which was laughable. That was my fault. What was I thinking? !
Overall it was a fairly good experience but I've definitely had tastier dim sum elsewhere in the Bay Area.
This is one of the best Dim Sum I’ve had in the Bay Area. They are 5 stars. The freshness, the taste, the quality… mostly Chinese customers, so you know it’s the real deal.
Good options for dimsum. Hot and fresh.
We usually get a stir fry item too (beef chow hall fun: beef with thicker flat rice noodle) and occasionally, we come for dinner. They have fresh/live fish and prawns, lobster/crabs. Sometimes it can be a little slower with service.
And the high chairs are a a little sticky.
The best seafood in the area. Huge lobsters, alive to pick from and hundreds different dishes. Great service! Lots of parking.
Never got to try the food. Service was terrible. Had to reorder twice. Waited 15 minutes after submitting 1st order to find out it was lost. 2nd time it was messed.up again after another 15 minute. I had enough and walked out. The menu is not intuitive if you can't read chinese.
This is our Cafeteria! Know most of the employees and they know us too! Food is always consistent and prices are good.
Just hope the could explore a little more choices on their dim sum menu.
Parking sucks but the food is great. If you doing lunch on the weekend come at opening time to find parking and a table.
This restaurant has some of the best chinese/hong kong food in the area. Waiters are nicer than the ones in a typical chinese restaurant. The yeung chow fried rice is so good. Its flavorful and not masked in soy sauce. I highly recommend
Service was terrible. Borderline racist treatment. They made sure to serve all the Asian customers before us. Even those that ordered after us. They also overcharged us by at least $10. AND the Dim Sum wasn’t even all that!
Full range of Chinese food you can choose from. Dim sum, fresh seafood, searing stir-fry and Szechuan spicy dishes are all in their menu.
My first visit. Excellent dim sum, ordered off a menu not carts so it is always hot. The kitchen spaced out our dishes so instead of bringing them all at once so they were still warm when we ate them. Friendly, helpful, English-speaking staff. I'll be back soon.
We had 9 dimsum for 2 people. Everything was hot and delicious but the price was a little bit increased. Wasn't too happy with it!
I should have taken some pictures but I was too hungry to wait.
The Siu Mine and shrimp dumpling are tasty with thinner wrap. This is very nice while chewing it in the mouth.
I do recommend the roasted and BBQ recipe.
Good service.
You may do your groceries shopping after lunch because Ranch 99 is at the next shopping plaza.
