Great big state park with great trails as well as river access. Not usually too busy, nicely secluded

This is a great spot to fish or just hang out at the river. There's a big island that's easy to get to from the sunrise Blvd entrance. And there usually isn't anyone else out there next to you. So it's like having the river to yourself. It's a good spot to catch salmon also!

The most beautiful spot for a hike, walk, or just to get away from all the noise cars and people! I recommend this spot to relax hike and enjoy the beautiful views of our American river!

Tucked tightly within a neighborhood, if you're not a local it's easier to access the river from the Upper Sunrise side.

This is a nice park I discovered recently. It's great for walks or hitting the river if you enjoy fishing as there are plenty of outlets and plenty of parking available. My only complaint is that there are no benches, tables, either at the park or along the pathways. There are no drinking fountains so bring your own water.

Beautiful area, great for walking dogs right by the beautiful American River. Recently, two sea lions have been cited swimming in the American River right here at sailor bar! They just stay for a little while then swim back to the ocean.
