Saiwaii Ramen, San Francisco CA

Great tonkotsu ramen, plus it's close enough to the park to walk over and still have the broth scalding hot when you get there.
It's a nice treat and very safe

If you are ordering out from delivery app - PLEASE DONT. Disrespectful towards all delivery drivers. I GUESS THEY FORGOT WHO GOT THEM THROUGH THE PANDEMIC AND WHO DELIVERED THEIR FOOD TO KEEP THEIR DOORS OPEN. They literally will “shoo” the delivery drivers and yell at them to not enter the store.

As a dine in customer i watched multiple delivery drivers arrive and be yelled at and “shoo’d” out of the restaurant and to wait outside. Although they are in my neighborhood, they have lost my business. No hard working person who helps restaurants make money should be treated that way. We are all human, treat them with respect!

Ps. Improve your english or have patience when communicating please!

Behind the unassuming door is delicious (and authentic!) food, tons of options, and great service from the owner and staff. I've been going here for years and I recommend it to everyone. Don't miss dinner at Saiwaii

Enjoying early dinner outside of Saieaii Ramen on Irving st. SF. I had my regular Spicy Garlic Chicken Ramen and as usual it’s good damn delicious. They open few tables outside due to COVID 19. Stop by and check it out or just support Women own and local business in San Francisco. Oh, you need to try their Takoyaki it’s freaking delicious.

Best ramen spot in the city. Try the spicy mala ramen if you like spice. It’s absolutely delicious. Love stopping by here before a flight or when I land and need some good broth and noodles. Very good atmosphere as well! Super comfy

Good ramen place. Everyone - other customers and the staff were super friendly. Lots of ramen options incl gluten free and veggie. I got the Tonkotsu Spicy Garlic and it was the perfect level of spice.

Need to up date info on here. There was no sushi on menu, asked server Abt it and she said no sushi since 2017! Meal was ok. Not horrible, but not great.

Tried this place out and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a very small place. I went after the lunch rush, so had no problem getting in. The service was good. I had the Spicy Mala. It was exceptional. I am not a ramen connoisseur, but thought there was plenty of flavor. I would go back.

The tonkotsu ramen here is fantastic, very rich and porky, but I have to say that all of their ramen are amazing. Can’t tell anything about the sushi because I’ve never tried it, but if it’s a good bowl of ramen that you are looking for this is certainly the place

IDC WHAT YOU SAY IS THE BEST RAMEN IN SF, SAIWAII IS DANK AF. Same super friendly and attentive wait staff and kitchen for years. If you like spicy, make sure to get the spicy garlic katsu - it's one of the best things in the city. Add a side of chicken karaage and take your ramen to the next level.

Great sushi and ramen for a killer price! Can't beat it! Get there early. There's a wait because it's a small place, but it's definitely worth it!

First taste of authentic "ramen" and it was a good one. I had the chicken ramen. Flavor of the broth was excellent but the chicken could have used more seasoning prior to going into the bowl. Reasonably priced meal considering the rest of the areas prices. Quick service, clean environment and friendly staff. Excellent choice.
