About 2 years ago my hair dresser of over a decade broke my heart & moved to Palm Springs. Since then, I have tried several different people & just haven’t found someone I liked for my hair.

I found Lisa scrolling through Instagram. I have given so many people a try I didn’t have very high expectations. But right away Lisa made me feel comfortable. She sat down & listened to what kind of look I wanted. She asked me questions throughout the process to make sure we were on the same page. My hair wasn’t easy because she had to fix a poor hair cut & poor hair color the last lady left me. She was able to fix everything for me & give me exactly what I asked for. I was extremely happy with the results & will definitely be back to see her!

Salon Savoir is super amazing! The atmosphere is so relaxing and the staff is so nice and welcoming. I feel like a queen. One person I must talk about is Sergio. He is a top 5-star hair colorist! He is like no other! He is so knowledgeable, super professional, he listens to you and does exactly what you ask him to do. He also gives the perfect suggestions in case he doesn’t think what you ask will look good on your hair. He is also the kindest person in the world, always happy and smiley, he has the greatest vibe! I love you Sergio! I’ve been doing my hair with him for 5 years now! He’s the BEST in San Diego, not a doubt!

Absolutely loved my experience at Salon Savoir and can't wait for my next appointment. Bree took time prior to booking my appointment to really understand what I was looking to achieve with my hair goals. So grateful to have come across such a sweet stylist. Sergio is amazing! After I found him I’m not going anywhere. He takes care of my hair so well and does a incredible job at highlight my hair. I also get Brazilian blowouts with him and it has lasted over 6 months. It’s always a great time getting my hair done by him. The salon is also very clean and friendly. I was referred to Jen by a friend of mine and she did not disappoint. I had been looking for someone for a while. I had tried many different barber shops and although they are great at what they do, I didn’t want just a typical fade on the sides and short on top. Sergio has been my hairdresser for the past 8 years here in San Diego and I couldn’t trust anybody else. He has the craziest and busiest work schedule but he always makes room for me and for all of his clients. I love his professionalism and his kindness. When my hairdresser of 35+ years retired at the end of last year, my heart sank. Not only had a good friend moved away, but what were my hair and I going to do? Fortunately, he referred my best friend, her husband, and me to stylist Jen Candaleria at Salon Savoir. The rest, as they say, is history. From the moment you walk in the salon, Jen’s complete focus and attention are on you. How did your hair work? How was the cut…the color? Is there anything you would like to change? Staff are warm and friendly, and Jen exceptionally skilled at making sure you look your best. My friends and I look forward to our appointments, scheduled together on the same day, every five weeks or so. We have a great time, look terrific upon departure, and, best of all…we’ve gained a very skilled hairstylist, and new friend!

Jen Candaleria is absolutely my favorite hairdresser in San Diego. I have very curly hair and sometimes it gets hard finding someone who cuts my hair right.
She listens to my ideas and we collaborate on the perfect haircut. I always leave stoked and feeling refreshed!

I got a color service and blow out done by Lisa and I love how she made my hair look! Healthy and shiny! She washed my hair and gave me a relaxing scalp massage and recommended products for me to use to keep my hair healthy. The whole atmosphere of the salon was very cozy and welcoming. I will definitely go back to Lisa whenever I need a color touch up!
