I been coming here for a few years now and recently had the pleasure of meeting Victoria I came in for a pedicure a few weeks ago and my feet are still looking amazing definitely pays close attention to detail and left my feel silky soft will miss her since she’s done with school now hoping to find a new go to pedicurists in the evening times if anyone knows where I can find her

Just recently got my license as an esthetician! & I have to thank the best instructor ever, MS GHADA for doing every thing she could to help me be successful & achieve my goal in getting my license? I had first met Ms ghada when she subbed in nights & i absolutely loved her instantly. The way she teaches, the way she cares for her students & wants us to all succeed and be the best version of ourselves! I went from a night student to a full time student & it was the best decision ever because I learned SO MUCH from her. Any doubts I had she was always there to guide me & help me. She deserves the world! She made my experience at salon success everything I could’ve asked for! Thank you Salon Success for having such an amazing instructor

Very disappointed at how the school has turned out to be since ive graduated. Innocent students being poorly treated and harassed who get expelled for no reason and teachers who act like unprofessional, immature children get to keep there jobs. It's disgusting and the school needs to do a better job at hiring actual professionals who know how to act and teach properly with EXPERIENCE. The staff should all be fired. It breaks my heart when good people have to face the consequences of others actions. I would HIGHLY recommend LITERALLY ANY other school. It's just a waste of time and money and the teachers are VERY unprofessional and nasty people. Save yourselves the time and energy and don't give in to all the lies. If there was a choice for zero stars i would give so.

I am writing this review because I find it very disheartening that only people that have negative things to say usually post a comment. I’m here to do the opposite. I’ve been at salon success academy Upland campus since February. I am in the cosmo program and a current student ambassador. I have had the best experience here. To be older and now getting to do something that I love and to come and be accepted was more than I could ask for. I have built lifelong friendships and have met teachers that I have come to admire. Anywhere in this world is going to have its ups and downs but it’s not as bad as some say. I have been acknowledged when I do a good job and I have received constructive criticism on what to do better next time. If you’re following the rules and doing what you came here to do then you will have no problems. The things that I have learned at this school will definitely make me a successful stylist when I leave. So THANK YOU SALON SUCCESS.

I got a great haircut for not a lot of money. A teacher was present and guided it. The atmosphere is relaxed and professional. I was not disappointed.

Things at this school are just not as professional as they make them self appear. Also are being accused to smelling like marajana and sent home when the law says: “House Bill 1071 states that marijuana’s odor alone gives police neither reasonable suspicion nor probable cause to suspect someone of criminal activity. ” The fact that when there is any type of smell of it I’m accused sounds like discrimination and harassment to me. Sad that things like this accrue in this world

I love coming to this location everytime I get service done they do a really good job. I have a son who is autistic and scared of the clippers and evertime he has someone different doing his hair he actually sits still and they have lots of patience with him.

I am currently a student in the evening manicuring program at the upland campus. I am almost done with the program and I regret coming here. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone and I would recommend anyone thinking of coming here find another school that is cheaper so they're not spending $5700 all out of pocket to basically learn nothing. I do not feel like I've gotten my money's worth at this school. Spent most of my time here without a proper teacher and do not feel like I have been properly prepared for state board. You have to be here everyday and if you go over hours you have to spend more money to make up those hours. And of course you have to make your monthly payments on time. But the school doesn't do it's part with making sure you have a proper teacher 5 days of the week and majority of the time I was here the school did not have all the proper supplies needed to do services on clients. A lot of people will tell you that you're only here to get your hours in to get licensed, so I definitely recommend to go find a cheaper school and not waste your money or time here.

I will definitely be back again! I scheduled a dermabrasian treatment and was a tad nervous walking into my appointment because I’ve never tried dermabrasian before and didn’t know what to expect. Thankfully upon entering, Teacher Gada introduced herself, walked me through the treatment, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of the entire treatment. She walked the student through everything and came back routinely to check in on me and her student. I couldn’t have asked for a better service!

I started going to the Upland Campus 10 months ago. All my visits have been positive especially my last 6 visits with student "Jaia". Jaia took time to listen to my issues I have with my hair and she gave me advice as to which products I should use on my hair. The salon uses all Redken products and thanks to Jaia I now use Redken products at home and I have more control and my hair looks healthy and the color does not fade or turn bracy. I needed a haircut 2 weeks ago and Jaia was on vacation so I waited for Jaia to return today. I got a new shorter haircut and color. I love the new style and color! Thank you Jaia you are the best, you will have a bright future as a hairstylist

I was an esthetician student at the upland campus. Ms. Ghada was my instructor from beginning to end. Throughout my journey, ms ghada went above and beyond to make sure we knew the material and mastered the techniques taught. She also engraved state board protocols into our brain to make sure we knew how important it was. She was super supportive and very motivational. I have absolutely nothing but great things to say solely about her. I am now a licensed esthetician:) Thank you Ms. Ghada.

I’ve been coming here a couple of months because I hate washing my own hair (very curly and frizzy) but it’s so expensive to go elsewhere for such a basic service. Venecia (advanced student) has been doing my hair and I just love her. Will miss her when she graduates! Everyone (reception, appointments, hair washers, etc.) here is always nice and they try to make sure everyone gets the royal treatment. I have had a few other referrals so hopefully I will be as happy after Venecia leaves and goes on to fulfill her dreams! It’s a “school environment” because it’s a school. They have fun and learn at the same time. You kind of have to come with that understanding. They are learning and you are their subject. I’ve never had any other services here but I’ve been happy with my wash and style services. Honestly, if I ever get bolder, I will try more services. I was honored to be here today as I got to watch Robert’s graduation and his whole family was here. Congratulations, Robert!

Worst experience showed up 2 times to get service done and they denied me they say they already have appointments scheduled for the day. And they receptionist was a bit rude and conceited (male receptionist. He needs more customer experience if he’s going to be working in a salon setting.

I was an esthetician student here at the upland campus and I owe all my knowledge to the amazing instructor Ms. Ghada. She always went out of her way to make sure our class was exciting but also learning everything we need to learn in order to become the best estheticians and pass our state board exam. She also would clearly explain and take her time with the demos and make sure each student understood each step of every process down to the core. If you are considering attending the esthetician program make sure you have Ms. Ghada as your instructor.

What a waste of my time. I came to my "appointment" but the person that was supposed to do my facial "went on break". I waited over 30 minutes and she had not returned from her break. Very unhappy that I drove 45 minutes to an appointment that wasn't handled correctly. If you are training people, that's pretty sad that you can't train them right. Also, Ms. Patty has the worst customer service. Did not even look at me when I walked in and walked up to the counter. She was staring at the computer. I spoke and said I was here for an appointment for a facial, she still never looked at me. Then she takes payment and sends for the girl that was supposed to do my facial. I only overheard that the girl went on break. Nothing else was said to me and I sat there for 15 minutes and finally spoke up. Ms. Patty was not at the counter, it was another girl. A simple "I'm sorry, she went on break and we will help you shortly, etc. " would have been decent customer service. You won't make it far in this world with that type of customer service. She needs to find a job where she doesn't work with the public. I am a Manger myself and she would quickly be let go for lack of customer service. To think this place is in business to "train" the future industry is so very sad. This is why customer service in general has gone dramatically down hill. Do better, be a better person, smile! So disappointed. The students walking around looking like zombies, not 1 smile, carried themselves like they did not want to be there.
The only thing good was that the girl that answered the phone and scheduled my was very nice and professional, unfortunately I didn't catch her name.
