Sal's kabob & gyro grill reviews
17I and my husband ordered chicken burger and gyros. Grilled and seasoned chicken was delicious. I recommend to try that place.
Super friendly staff, and the food is phenomenal. Also, the portion size for price is great too. Love this place!
Freshness of food is suspect. The chappli kabab was very dry and hard. Not sure how it's possibe to make chapli kabab this hard other than it being very old. The chicken was flavorful but lil dry. The beef kabab was also flavorful but the accompanying grilled veggies were def reheated. The accompanying salad was somewhat stale. The tzaziki and hummus was very good. The accompanying pita was good but clearly not fresh. Overall, I will give them a try again but hope the owners can make a better commitment to freshness and consistency of food being served. Take it off the menu if you must but don't serve up chapli kabab this bad.
Found this while driving in town & stopped by. I think they have another location in Elk Grove as well. Folsom location is kind of small, seating for about 10 inside. Service is quite fast. I ordered the lamb platter plate and it was good. The utensils provided are kind of small/dull to eat the lamb/rice with but food was good!
Great flavor! There are a lot of places to go for Mediterranean but this place is the best I've been to around Folsom. Great Pita, lamb/steak gyros and plates. Vegetables fresh and rice flavorful. Try his dad's homemade salsa, it's bomb!
Excellent lamb shawarmas! Nice get to Mediterranean food this tasty outside of the Bay Area. Service was quick. Family-style atmosphere like an indoor food truck, but we didn't come for the ambiance. Yet the aromas made you want to order everything. The fries were awesome too, fresh, hot and cooked just right, with a hint of spice - excellent.
I shop around looking for the perfect Gyro wrap. We got two spicy (you can order mild, medium, or spicy) Gyro lamb/beef. It was great.
The good is absolutely delicious! A real hidden gem here. Highly recommend that you give it a try, their gyros and Philly cheese steak sandwiches are perfect!
Absolutely amazing food full of flavor and outstanding service. My family's new favorite restaurant
Bad customer service and they dont give what was ordered. Extremely rude attitude with customers, I will never return there.
It’s about time! Ever since visiting the Mediterranean I’ve been longing for a good authentic gyro restaurant to curb my cravings! And they have shawarma too? ! I’ve died and gone to foodie heaven. Hallelujah I found it! The lobby doesn’t look like much (think food truck, but indoors), but that only adds to the authenticity of this food. You know it’s good the moment you walk in and smell it! The husband and wife owners are working their butts off and the food shows it. We will be back!
Had lamb and beef gyro takeout. Delicious. The flatbread was the perfect texture and stuffed full. The meat was really flavorful and the tzatziki sauce accented the gyro without overpowering the rest of the flavors Also had a side of rice and fries. The rice was seasoned lightly and delicious all by itself. The fries were good but soft.
Food was well made to order and very tasty. Ordered chicken plate with salad, and pita bread. Everything was good. I ordered french fries as I am not a big rice fan, but they gave me a sample of the rice and it wasvery good.
Food was just average. Got the beef/lamb gyro. Meat and pita were fine. Toppings were just a few chunks of white iceberg lettuce and 2 thin tomato slices. Not bad, but the sandwich looked a bit empty. Restaurant itself is small and not very nice.
Delicious food! My favorites are their Greek salad, shawarmas, combination plates with hummas so good and ***babagonouj
Sandwich’s were about 40% of the meat from other Greek places in the area. The frys were undercooked or just reheated. Tasted like oven baked garbage. Not to sure how they produced the chicken gyros, but I think they need to rethink the Greek supply store they buy ingredients. Probably the worst value and taste I’ve ever consumed in my life.
Worst food I have ever had! I usually don't do reviews but I had to do on this one as you can see the Fries are undercooked really bad that we had a stomach ache after eating it! Philly chicken doesn't taste what it supposed to taste, literally all food is blended with no taste! Never coming back to this place and if you wanna waste your money you can go to them!
