Sal's Mexican Restaurant - Selma reviews
14I had a tostada with whole beans there was hardly any beings on the tostada hardly any lettuce on the tostada the worst one I have ever had and the beans must have been bad I got very sick one good thing about that our waitress was very good
3 times now the chile relleno has been made with green bell pepper. Not what was ordered. My parents won’t go back. I love the food but regret my parents’ experiences. Been coming for over 25 years.
First time for my wife and I. Food was really good and the salsa was great
Would recommend to anyone.
Delicious as usual. Great service. Our dinners were so good. All our men love the fancy burrito.
There's a reason Sal's has been around for 80 years! The food is always the same great taste, the portions are always big and the service is top notch. Unlike other Mexican restaurants, Sal's has only gotten better over the years.
The food was very very good! The staff was very attentive and I really admired the waitress as she had a large table and kept everything rolling.
The food was INCREDIBLE. We were all very pleased with our meals and even though it's a 30 minute drive for us, we will definitely be back. The shredded beef in my taco was the best I've ever tasted and the taco shell didn't fall apart and had a great consistency. Highly recommend!
Been going here since I was a kid. Makes me happy when I’m passing through Selma for lunch…I can’t explain but it’s just better than the Fresno locations…maybe cause of my memories…
Since I don't eat any pork, I had to leave cause they use lard in most of their cooking including tortilla chips. But their service was great and very accommodating. They didn't even chanrge us for the drinks.
Great spot for lunch! We stopped in on our drive south. My son said he was craving Mexican, and this place had good reviews and it was timed right with our drive (arrived around 12: 15pm on a Thursday). Service was very friendly and prompt. Chips and Salsa were perfect! Guac was great! My son had the Camarones Mojo De Ajo - so good (I had a couple pieces of his shrimp and a lot of his rice - yummy, perfect fluffy Mexican rice!
Reasonably priced with large portions. I ordered the veggie quesadilla, and it was quite large with a side of quac and sour cream. Seems like a mix of locals eat here often, as the place was packed the whole time we were there, but people cycled through fairly quickly.
One of my favorite places to eat. Great service and great food. Nancy is the sweetest server
We love Sal's and they have very good food and service. The only thing I wish they would do is season the chips and have a mild salsa to offer those who cannot eat the very hot salsa they serve other than that this place has really good food. If you have not eaten here before please give it a try.
This place is so good! Actually tastes homemade and fresh. Stopped on our road trip. The service was amazing the wait wasn’t long and it was a Sunday.
Sal's oldie, but for sure, a goodie! Will never be disappointed when you visit Sal's, guaranteed
